What about jerky and dried fruits? Not the most glamorous but it'll do in a pinch! Also apples and small packs of almond butter/coconut butter, chopped veggies with some dip, olive oil or citrus based for the heat. Coconut chips, sweet potato chips, plantain chips. Make your own trail mix with nuts/seeds/dried fruits. Hope…

Love this thread! Getting some great ideas from people :) I have similar problems with eating strict paleo and losing motivation after some weekend drinks. Some things that have worked for me recently - I cut out drinking on weekdays. Easier said than done, but I definitely make exceptions. Also, cutting weekday drinking…

Surprisingly I've had really good luck with the champion sports bras at Target - they last a long time, and keep everything in place for all sorts of WODs. I like the reversible ones since I have a lot of different colored workout shirts. Although - I did NOT like the ones with the thin straps, they seemed to rub/irritate…

Primal Palate has a great recipe for lamb meatballs over zucchini noodles with mint pesto - we've made it several times and there are never any leftovers :)

I'm up at 5:30am and at crossfit by 5:55am. I don't eat or drink anything before, but I sip water during the workout. I also drink a ton of water during the rest of the day so I'm not dehydrated in the morning. Music - during warmups I love Explosions in the Sky, or some Marley :) During the workout I need something upbeat…

Sure, it's early - but its over before your brain has time to catch up :) I've also added a lunch hour yoga class, but I'm lucky to have a yoga studio within walking distance of my office. I've made a couple at-work changes that seem to have helped - I try to stand at…

Hey all, I'm new on here - also looking for some crossfit/lifting friends! And since I'm new, haters please don't lecture at me - I've been doing this style workout since I was a teenager, I'm well versed in correct form and know how to spot a crappy coach. Oh - and I'm injury free.

Going to post a few lunches that work for us - Lettuce wraps are one of our favorites. They're easy to change up, and easy to assemble at work - just keep the tomatoes on the side until you're ready to eat. You can also make a wrap out of eggs. Or do a leftover burger w/lettuce wrap. Tuna/Sardine salad would be another…
