I'm 56 and gained about 15 pounds from the late summer through the holidays. We have started our own "Biggest Loser" at work, so that has helped quite a bit. This will be slow and steady weight loss. Have the 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels, have been doing that along with an elliptical session. Its difficult.

I also eat out of boredom. The thing that gets me is "fixed" is I ask/tell myself that it is just a cookie, doughnut, whatever it is- and it is not the only one that you will ever see-it is not a once in a lifetime event. I'm new too! have lost 12lbs over the last 3 months, stalled this month on the loss. Have been really careful about what I have been eating, and also working out the exercise aspect. Just have been frustrated this month with no loss. Worked out today, with good effort!!!
