  • I'm 52 and my wife is 45 and after years of being able to eat what we want we're also in this trap. There's nothing more discouraging than to beat up the treadmill, stay way under your calorie count, weigh the next morning and be exactly the same (or up in weight). If anyone has suggestions I'm all ears!
  • I'm 52 and I'm looking for friends around my age that want to stay fit, keep the belly off, build muscle mass, maintain an optimum weight, and generally stay in good physical condition even though it's not as easy as it used to be!
  • Plateaus are very frustrating. Last week I ate right, worked out, came in at 1500 calories for the day, and a gained 1.5 pounds. I would add is that all calories aren't created equal. If your doing more carbs (especially fast food carbs) and less fat and protein, it doesn't come off as easy. I'm currently having good luck…
