Did my two consecutive lifting days yesterday and the day before and am definitely more sore than usual, but not too bad. I wouldn't want to make a habit of it though! Last day of stage 2 of NROL4W tomorrow

Amazing results!! Congrats!

Thanks for the replies everyone :flowerforyou: It's not something I do or would even want to do on a regular basis. I just really want to finish this programme before I go to where I've no gym access for two weeks. Think I'' just go for it. It's just two days consecutive, see how it goes.

Are you by any chance this guy? Not really funny at all what you did. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/9280850/Rutgers-suicide-man-who-filmed-gay-room-mate-sentenced-to-30-days.html

Thanks Myownsunshine you're probably right, I'm being lazy. I did workout A today but will give them a go next time. At the moment I'm squating 27.5kg would I do the same for FSPP or would I start much lighter?
-
Think I'm just gonna stick with the normal back squats for a while and see how I get on :ohwell:
-
Well I did the two workouts together Did anyone else find these special workouts absolutely pointless?? Seemed like such a waste of a lifting day! I think we know how strong we are by how much we've upped our weights anyway
-
Anyone else have an opinion on this?
-
Thanks Stef  I think I will just do them on the same day. I'm not doing much cardio at the minute in the gym anyway so shouldn't take too long to do both workouts. Anyone else do this?

Thanks a mil for the replies chicas. Great words of wisdom there  I think I'm just going to wait a few weeks and then measure again after a week or so's rest. I measured the day after lifting so maybe I was holding water. I've been pretty good as regards calories in. Not eating as clean as I could but calories in…

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I think I'm just going to wait a few weeks and then measure again after a week or so's rest. I measured the day after lifting so maybe I was holding water. I've been pretty good as regards calories in. Not eating as clean as I could but calories in are usually lower than calories out. I'm eating…

Bumping this up. Made a few veggie lifting friends. Want more

I love cottage cheese. I eat it with pineapple or blueberries and a drop of maple syrup. Yummy

I don't even know what a smith machine is so that's definitely not my problem
-
Thanks Cait. Will have a look. Another thing maybe is that I'm not warming up properly! I was warming up by doing 10 mins on elliptical but maybe I need to do some warm up sets. especially for deadlifts and squats.

Thanks a mil for the advice and links to videos everyone. I'm really not sure if it's an injury or DOMS. It's so whenever I move but fine when I'm sitting, lying in bed, etc. My thighs and legs are also really sore but the soreness feels different somehow. I think I'll take a rest from lifting til Wed then do workout a…

I'd love to join as well. Need the support for November. October was a binge filled month!

Thanks Chevy. Do we input our goal on the spreadsheet or do you do that?
-
Great. Will be great to support each other. I know it will be hard for the Americans with Thanksgiving. Ate so much rubbish at Halloween, thank God we don't have another holiday here til Christmas
-
I'd like to join. Sounds fun ;-)
-
You look amazing. What a transformation. Well done!!!
-
Even though the numbers are small you can see a huge difference. Especially in your belly and arms!! Well done. Brilliant!
-
I think the height of the step is more important here than the weight. I'd say try increasing that first
-
Cheers for the replies. I have no problem going parallel without any weights so i guess I'll lower the weights right down and start over.
-
Yeah maybe i should start very light. If I can do it without weights i should be able to do it with weights. I started off with 11kg now I'm on 15kg, but i suppose there's no point in increasing weight if I'm not doing it correctly is there?
-
You look about 20 years younger!! Well done!!
-
That's definitely a success. You're doing brilliantly. Well done!!
