You don't have to keep your caps lock on while typing

I'm usually heavier at night as well. I think it's food and water.

As others have said, you're not going to lose more than 10-15lbs in a healthy way before then (if you try to lose more than that, you're just going to gain it all back and possibly more). Think of this as your a-ha moment that will motivate you to change. Mine was when I split a skirt at work. You need a lifestyle change,…

If you're sick, you should go to the doctor. Money isn't as important as your health.

I brought a tub of trail mix from Target with me to work before I started watching what I eat. I thought I would save money that way. I ended up eating the whole thing in three days (no wonder I gained a bunch of weight in the last three months!) Now I buy the individually wrapped serving sizes and it keeps me in check.

I got some comments when I hit 7lbs. I was wearing jeans and people could tell my hips look smaller. My husband also noticed that my backside seemed smaller. It was a nice motivator!

I'm really struggling with why someone with a 21 BMI (if that's really what she meant) would feel like they need to lose weight.

There are two websites (that I know of but I'm sure there are more) where you can consign your better clothes. They are Thredup.com and Tradesy.com

If you are referring to me, then wonder no more. I'm here for the calorie counting and exercise tool. I'm only posting because I'm having a slow day at work. I probably won't post much anymore because I have come to see that the forums aren't generally helpful for me and are excessively judgey. If you want to call that a…

Also, with regards to all the lack-of-picture kvetching, have you thought that maybe some people want some anonymity? I am going through cancer treatment and I haven't advertised that to a lot of people in my life (including my coworkers) and I want to keep it that way. I guess I could post headless pictures of me in a…

I'm not the type of person who can cut things entirely out of my diet. I am eating healthier and exercising and the weight is coming off. However, I'm going to let myself have treats now and then even if it's not "eating clean" (I don't really even know what that means.) I know I'm just a pictureless newbie still about 15…

Me too! I was down to 168.8 on the scale this morning (starting at 176 three weeks ago) and I feel great!

I love the energy I get from working out! My clothes are fitting better and my husband told me that my butt feels smaller. I also think all the extra water I am drinking is helping me skin because it looks better than it has in years!

To help keep my cancer from coming back. Also, exercise and eating right makes me feel better through the end of my treatment. Also, I want my college body back again.

I feel badly sometimes when I mention that I am trying to watch what I eat and exercise more in front of people that weigh significantly more than I do. I am not trying to make anyone feel bad. I'm just talking about my own goals. Their body has nothing to do with how I feel about mine, so I try not to let it bother me.…

Are you taking Xeloda? That's what I take and I am lucky so far that I haven't had many problems with the hand and foot syndrome. The Udderly Smooth and slippers are a good idea. I use them too. I almost never walk barefoot. A few times my feet have gotten really hot and it felt like a lot of friction, but they haven't…

I weighed in a pound lighter this morning. That puts me at 3.6lbs for the week. It's my first week though and I know this rate of weight loss can't and shouldn't be sustained. It's a great motivator though. I'm off to the gym!

I do admit to laughing at women who can't walk properly in heels. They look like baby giraffes.

I like the way my legs look in them and I think they complete a professional outfit. I usually don't go higher than 3 inch heels, unless they have a platform. Any higher than that and they are too uncomfortable. If you don't like high heels, then don't wear them. Don't be judgy.

That would be great and would have me at my goal weight. I'm in.

I'm 5'8" and about 173lbs. I am mostly wearing 12s, but some pants fit better as a 14 (I don't buy them because I feel bad). I was sick last year and got down to about 155lbs and I was wearing a size 10. I'd like to get back around 160ish. I'm comfortable at that weight, although I did like being a bit skinnier when I was…

I just joined myfitnesspal this morning. I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of unknown primary in December 2012. It is/was in my liver, but they don't know where it started. It feels like I have had every test imaginable. It might be cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) or colon cancer. I have had two liver resections…
