Other notes about the camel back ( I really like mine) you do have to clean them now and then like anything that holds water, but if you keep the empty bottle in the freezer for storage you can go longer without algae. you can buy backup bottles. the bottle in the backpack compresses while you drink, so no sloshing. If you…

Camel back! Definitely worth the extra change, it holds water, the bottle is removable and replaceable, easy to clean and store in the refrigerator, and it holds your music player. Do buy one in person so you can really get a handle on the size of the pack.

Not weird at all. Fit is the new hot.

Did they act that way and pig out before you decided to change? Chances are they are still the same as always and you never noticed as much when you were joining in, they may have added a little friendly teasing into the mix but that's pretty normal for most clicks and in my opinion not that bad. If this is the case, why…

Just a warning. There are built in rules against complaining about tyrannical behavior on the part of the Mods. Otherwise I'd probably agree wholeheartedly.

I've never heard of someone getting stretch marks from weight loss. By definition you're getting smaller and therefore not "stretching." However if you recently took up power-lifting and have added mad girth to your biceps that may be a different thing. I can also imagine that weight loss may expose some pre-existing…

Some are not, some are. Make sure you investigate before committing your time and money. Check education and ask others he/she/it has trained. If they have the education and background to do the job (as opposed to an honorary gym license or something from a web site) they can offer a wealth of information and motivation.…

Set alarm for 4am, get up, allotted 30 minutes of blank stare time, work out. i have found that massive doses of b12 help, but that's not safe.

I don't think it's too much. I'd suggest some weight training as well. If you're going be be obsessed with something, let it be health.

Careful! gum is a gateway snack! It can lead to larger and more un-logged calories. Next thing you know the rational is "this is sugar free. not logging it." "this says diet on the box. not logging it.""this says Weight watchers on the box. not logging it." "this says Fat free on the box. not logging it." The next thing…

Sadly I believe it's the only option. I can only imagine the feedback (pun not intended) if they used a logical approach and just told the obese person not to eat as much, deal with their problem, and stop whining. Then that person just sat in their miserable "do it for me" attitude until she died. Or if they tried to put…

Great post. Thank you.

Usually I'd say protein but that seems fine with you. Have you checked your potassium intake? Low potassium can contribute to soreness.

But if you did log them others could see that what they are experiencing is natural. However I really only weigh in once a week.
-
I'm not sure about this site, however in many calculations the "activity level" has to do with your assumed heart rate. A person with a high activity level has a resting heart rate of about 60 beats a minute. A person with low or moderate can be at 80-90 beats a minute or more. This has a lot to do with how high your heart…

I weigh once a week. My scale also does water and body fat % and it is the body fat I'm most concerned with. and you are more than welcome to add me as a friend if you like. :-)
-
Just pick a scale and go with it. They will all have some variance. Do make sure it's a good scale that will at least give you the same results 3 times in 60 seconds. I used to have one that I could weigh myself, get off, get right back on and be 5 pounds heavier.

Yum,. butter, marshmallow, cow. Why is that not on the menu at the Heart Attack Grill?

Life is too be lived, not endured. Go have fun. If you feel really bad tomorrow work off some extra calories, or if hung over do it Sunday.

I do photography on the side. I just wish I were rich enough to do it full time.

While I know it's hard the reality is it's your body, your brain and your decision. Self control and the determination to choose wisely is all you need.

You are doing just fine, fantastic in fact when it come to body fat. I'm beating the heck out of average right now at 22.4% and will hit 15% by January. That's my goal at least. Description Women Men Essential fat 10–13% 2–5% Athletes 14–20% 6–13% Fitness 21–24% 14–17% Average 25–31% 18–24% Obese 32%+ 25%+

Dear god, community justified anorexia here we come. I can understand your issues with how often people use that term, and how it is blown out of proportion. However in order to be healthy, one must eat a reasonable amount of food. When exercising the necessary amount goes up. A person with an empty stomach will store more…

losing an inch on the waist is nothing to complain about. Just looked at your diary. You really need to eat at least 1200 calories a day and please consider drinking water. Also it looks like you are doing two things with your diet (other than low calories) that may be a hindrance. 1. you don't seem to eat between…

It's all about your heart rate. If shaving 5 minutes off didn't credit you with bonus calories chances are your heart rate didn't rise as high. Perhaps you're getting in better shape. Of course duration does have a lot to do with calories burned. Check into "heart rate zones" for more information. elevating your heart rate…
