I can tell you, for 6+ months I was successfully losing weight before I joined here. Time flies, better to start now. You have nothing to worry. If you want to lose weight and are serious about it, you will. Just keep the motivation, mental strength is how one wins.

If you do thousands your butt will be nice anyway. Girls used to comment about mine. ;) Just add it to your exercises, it is one hell of an exercise.
-
Do you want to increase squat weight? Or just looks? If you want to increase squat weight, you just go for it. You get gains from the heavy weight. I used to start at 300 weighing 190 lbs. That was my start, 300x10 then move up.

Anyone can add me, I'm an exercise freak with low calorie intake.
-
I am turning the music on, LOUD, and then I am hitting the stationary bike for a while. You should energize yourself, grow some insane motivation!
-
This again? I already said, to stop is a mental thing. Tell yourself, do you want to lose weight or not?
-
I'm staying with it, although I get negative comments about it from time to time. I'm just going to lose weight my way. If you just burn more than you eat, your fine. This isn't hard.

Thanks, I exercise extensively. If you do get a bench, try a complete combined 100 reps a day at some point. You'll make those moobs good bye.
-
Just bench every other day with a lot of sets, those will disappear. Mine used to be huge and my chest changed dramatically with a lot of bench presses.
-
Results don't always happen overnight. Just don't freak out and you will continue to lose weight.
-
Not supposed to be, lifting heavy, you go really heavy. I was a power lifter and that heavy is not the same as crossfit.
-
I embraced it instead. I do over 1,000 minutes of exercise a week and I feel jittery all the time. But I feel empowered!

I know no one cares but I didn't lie. http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg483/ZaCkOX/Over2kCalories_zps926c53a0.jpg

It would most definitely fall without the rails and it would definitely be wayyyy tooo dangerous to try then.

I weigh 250 currently, I nor he if he weighed that much could do that. If I was 180 lbs, I definitely could do that. I could do that in my monster days. All that takes is balance and locked arms, no biggie. He is using supported guide rails so he doesn't fall easily.
-
I wasn't, but anyone that lifts a lot and doesn't weigh much can do that. That is why I am laughing. I would of been impressed if I saw a lot of reps and he was touching the floor with his head, going up and down. I'm just not impressed.
-
What is the benefit in that??? You can get stronger other ways LOL.
-
I do it because I want to kick my *kitten*. No I don't eat icecream anymore. I lift weights too then cardio.
-
Do you need a picture to believe me? I've been on some machines over 4 hours. This week I did a stationary bike, incline 20 (highest possible) for 3 hours ~ over 2000 calories.

I've burned like 3 to 5 lbs of fat this week and I lost no weight whatsoever. I wouldn't worry about it. What happens for like me, the water stays retained in my body and I know I'm building muscle at same time. If I put on my weight lifting belt, I can tighten more every few days but my weight is the same. The answer is,…

7-24-2014 = (started myfitnesspal account) 7-25-2014 = 120 7-26-2014 = 50+55 = 105 7-27-2014 = 240+80 = 320 7-28-2014 = 0 (rest day) 7-29-2014 = 90 + 80 = 170 120+105+320+170 = 715 minutes... guess I smashed the challenge and I haven't even started today :)

You need to try harder, sounds like you gave up.
-
While you can lose weight with just lifting, cardio is important regardless. Force yourself to it, eventually you'll be moving so much it is easy.
-
I'll add you, didn't want this to fall too far without a reply. :) Other posts started to cover the top.

I am extremely motivated, anyone can add me or read my story if they want to know how I am so motivated.

Jerks of course... if it was me, I would be out there training harder. Negativity doesn't have to affect you in a negative way. In a positive way you could show them up. But they will probably always be jerks anyway even if you were in the best shape possible. Just try to have a happy life where yours is better. Then maybe…

Icecream will forever remind me of when I went downhill and depressed overnight. It was all I consumed the first two months of being depressed. Do I still crave it? No. I don't even think about that food. But it sure tastes darn good as a shake and that was how I put on so much weight the first few months. Luckily I never…

Once you get into your diet and lose weight, you should be able to exercise a little easier. With a hurt knee I wouldn't recommend running, I do a stationary bike. My knees took a lot of pain in my younger years from squats. I still do squats but not as heavy as I used to. To answer your questions yes, after I lost 30 lbs.…

Honestly you can weight train with anything heavy, put books in a backpack. I only did that in college. At home I have all the weight rack stuff so not really fair to say. But I will say, if you want to train heavier, it can be done without spending a ton of money.

Your lack of willpower could be... you don't see exactly what you want. You have to want something. Want a skinnier body? You have to WANT IT.
