Love all the ideas on here. I usually add a little vanilla extract, squeeze of honey, 1/4 cup whole grain oats, and heated up frozen berries. Also, like others said, as sour cream on my wraps, quesadillas, omelets, anything I want to switch up a bit.

I try for the 5 meals at 300 cals each. I struggle with snacks, cause I'm usually not hungry at the time, but I kind of eat them anyways..but make them light if I'm not hungry (peanut butter celery, half sandwich, yogurt/fruit/oats/smoothy), and when I was eating all 500 before 5 (dinner time) I was getting hungry at night…

I'm an apple & pb fan too, but found a great idea where you mix a little peanut butter together with greek yogurt for your slices. It changes it up just enough! Plus it makes a great snack to share with the kids and for your pup in your life to lick the bowl after!

I also think the eating is a trial & error. I eat between 1300-1500/day, over if the workout day is a high burner. Also, I measure myself & measure my foods. Don't get discouraged! I lost 24lbs with Insanity, but it was almost ALL in month 2 and after! I started losing 2-3 lbs/week. I'm repeating Insanity over again (after a 2 week break). I just finished month one, and am in the recovery week. Honestly, my calves burned every day the entire month. I just pushed through and took rests when I needed to. I think its really hard this close after giving birth. I feel the same...part of it is the body image. For me, if I don't have my 2mnth old with me, I feel disgusting... Not obviously pregnant anymore..just large and flabby. I have no desire to do a date night or visit with old friends.

To my little one I say "Mommy loves you, and because I love you I want you to grow up knowing food differently than I did. I want to feed you healthy choices and make it our lifestyle.
