  • From someone who has had issues like that as well...my symphathies. It pisses me off just reading it. ((HUGS)) I'm so sorry! ~Gael~
  • ROCK ON!! Congratulations. I've been on a plateau for over a month. Frustrating as all hell. But you're just showing me that it can change. CONGRATS!! *squee* ~Keeks~
  • Soft of off topic, but not really... When I was shopping at Whole Foods on Saturday, I ran into the guy who played Ethan on LOST. He is a Louisville native. Who knew? ~Gael~
  • Good to know, msarro!! I'll look into that the next time I make it! :) ~Kiki~
  • Heee!! You and me both. And for the low calorie count...it's very delicious! I was surprised, really!! Bon apetite! :flowerforyou:

  • Thanks, Banks. And you're right...it can take a long time. And I'm counting on it to do just that. I'm just easily frustrated. My goal...is to reach my goal by the holidays. We'll see if I can do it. I have a few months yet! ~Gael~

  • This was very well said!! I'm down to my last 8 pounds. When I started here, it was my last 10. The first week, I dropped 2. Now, over a month later...nothing has changed. I almost dropped a full pound earlier in the week and I've been so excited. I'm hoping to continue the trend to a healthier me! :) Thanks again for…
  • You are an inspiration!! Congratulations!! :)
  • I haven't read that. Anyone have a link? And THANK YOU!!! :)

  • For over a month, I have seen no progress at all. I hit a plateau. And while I'm still 0.4 pounds away from losing an entire pound...I finally saw some different numbers on the scale today. And I finally feel like I could be making progress! It just made my day! ~Gael~

  • You look great!! :)
  • I'm down 2 pounds...but this is a holiday weekend. I'm going to try to be good, but I'll be away from home so my workout schedule goes a bit wonky. Wish me luck!
  • You look FABULOUS!!

  • And see...you did the best thing you can do when you eat out. Eat half of your meal and bring the rest home with you. I immediately ask for a box and set aside half that way I don't overeat. Congratulations!! Very smart checking the menu! :)
  • Fresh strawberries are my favorite snack! :)
  • I snacked a lot more than I should have...but in the end, I didn't do too bad for myself. And I remained on the go. Weekends are always hard...but I'm getting better.
  • ...or it could be that you've reached a plateau and it's just a matter of getting over it. It happens to everyone in the weight category. I've hit another one where I'm not losing weight. No matter if I increase my exercise or watch my calories...I don't budge on weight. You'll get through it.
  • I heard it was best to exercise in the morning...preferably before eating. That jump-starts your metabolism. I do yoga every morning and then eat breakfast. It's done wonders.
  • New York! However, I'm currently living in Southern Indiana, close to Louisville, KY.
  • Wow! You ladies look great!! Looks like it was a fun time! :)
  • I agree! Next time you're assigned to bring a dessert...think Jell-O or something with fewer calories. even a something with fruit in it. It doesn't have to be cookies or something that will tempt you. It's not easy. And the important thing is that you don't deny yourself anything. Just moderate! You'll get there, sweetie!…
  • That is good advice...not to weigh every day. It's hard not to, because I like to see progress. But I'll definitely look into doing it once a week so as not to aggrevate myself with fluctuating weight. Thank you both for the encouragement!! It's just what I needed. ((HUGS))
  • I don't understand. I try my best to go for brisk walks between working at a desk all day. I watch what I eat. I count calories. I lose two pounds...and then this morning find out I gained them back. It's disheartening because just yesterday morning I had weighed in and had noticed I was down two pounds. This…
  • 10 pounds. That's what I'm trying to take off. Exactly. It's the hardest to get off and I've been yo-yoing on the weight each day. So...I'll join in on the last 10 pounds challenge!
  • *applause* Congratulations and good luck with your continued success!!
  • Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! :)

  • I know I don't have much to lose, but it's these last few that are always tough. I've previously lost 60 pounds and kept it off. But I'm down to losing the last 10 pounds, and I've hit a plateau. I'm hoping that this might help. ~Gael~
