It's probably best to hold out and get the polar. It's tried, tested and reccommeneded by many people on here

I can't really say cause I don't know the brand, but I agree that if it gas a strap then it's probably gonna be good. Have you read any customer reviews about it online?

Thank you all :)

I'm definitely sticking to the scales in the gym. I made some enquiries and apparently they cost over £300 and are tested to a certain standard. F boots, everything they stand for and the **** they put me through over the last few weeks. I even started mfp based on there readings but have adjusted them to the gyms scale…

Good point!
-
I was relying on them for ages, as I liked having the print out with me, plus the fact I could check my bf% and BMI. But trust me even though the scales at the gym are old school they're still accurate

Go you!

You guys have a point I guess. Gonna do loads of HITT and a little bit of weights

I see. Goodluck with finding all of that ladies

Confused.com because women all want . 'bad boys' and get easily bored with the nice ones who do the chivalry thing. By the time they hit there 30's and some even 40's and they've been pimped out more than xzibit and his 'rides', they usually come back with a couple of kids in tow and expect you to be there. Ladies 'you…

Sis Bosanka, Congrats on the job offer, if it is something you have always wanted then go for it! I workout super early like 6am before work, it takes a few days to adjust and boy will your body try and resist, but it gets easier and you feel much better during the working day & even more energetic. Good luck inshalla,…

We're in the last 10 fasts here, so everyone is focussing on prayers etc... and family members are hosting iftaar as much as possible, so I am busy with that. I am off work from Thursday until after Eid so I will be more active here then

Mashalla sis, I am absolutely loving that post at the moment. It's very inspiring and thought provoking and made me realise that I am guilty of a few of the things mentioned in it. I have realised that instead of embracing this month fully I have been wishing it away ever since it started, just so I can go back to the…

Nice post sis Bosanka... I think I get most of my exercise at work. Mental as well as physical and I try my best to get away from my desk and walk around as much as possible. Even at lunchtime I try and get some fresh air and walk outside. I guess I don't really log it because I really don't see it as exercise. Maybe I…

I'm also very proud of all of you, who have fitted exercise in. I've been so lazy this month. I started out with good intentions, but the long fasts, lack of sleep and work have really taken their toll on me - to the point where people keep saying I look weak. After ramadaan it's gonna be business as usual.. I'm gonna beat…
-
Great going people! Mashalla we're on the 10th ramadaan today. Only 20 more to go
-
Just checking in on you guys, mashalla you're all doing extremely well. Keep it up

Sleep deprevation is killing me, hence the lack of participation. I've been walking as I have no energy to exercise, i'm feeling down cause i'm losing muscle definition and I feel soft.. And walking is too boring! Therefore I try and eat 'healthy'
-
Brothers & Sisters, I'm really feeling it today. I didn't sleep at all last night. (By the time I got back from taravee and went to bed, it was past midnight, I then was worried I wouldn't wake up if I went to sleep, Now I have a big headache and I have to leave for work.. Oh did I mention I work in sales? So I have to…

How's everyone doing? it's currently 11.15am in the UK and i'm feeling OK.. kinda lol really missing tea at the moment.. I normally have 3 cups a day. On a positive note I did manage to drink 1 litre of water this morning.

Thanks for the good wishes Naku. It would be interesting to find out how you guys get on with the shred. The gym have literally 'banned' me until ramadaan is over.. So plenty of walking after taravi it will be

I'd like to join to! Walking is the only exercise i'll be getting over the next month
-
This thread is very inspirational :) Exercise wise, I had a chat with the gym instructor this morning, she said not to come in, in the daytime. She told me to go for a walk after iftar and do some light weight training once a week, this is just to remind the body that I need those muscles, and to send it the 'fat burning'…

Glad this thread lasted longer than mine! Count me in to
