  • I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be unclear. I didn't do what most people appear to do when they diet, weigh-in weekly, set a goal weight, etc. I didn't even learn that was the way most diets work until I lost the weight and started reading diet books.
  • Coffee, with sugar for the first cup, then Splenda for the second and third. I add either soy milk or unsweetened coconut milk as "creamer," as I'm allergic to all milk and milk products.
  • No, I'm not. When I was actively dieting, I restricted calories and portions. I was overeating carbs, of course, but then I was overeating everything. :) I usually eat two meals a day, breakfast and dinner.
  • You might want to try reading Gina Kolata's book Ultimate Fitness. In it, she reports there really are some people who just don't respond to exercise. I appear to be lucky. I do respond to exercise and love it.
