Tell them it's not the spray that helps them lose weight, it's reducing their calories to less than they are normally eating now. Just with every gimmick diet out there... it's a "sensible diet and exercise" that produces the results. Have them read the fine print... and they'll know it's true.

Have your doctor run all the routine tests. If they come out normal, you're fine for now. But try to cut back a little at a time. The American Heart Association recommends no more than 1,500mg per day for a healthy heart. But our bodies do need sodium to survive... just not as much as people are having in all the processed…

Thank you for the kind words, Jarnard. :)

Thanks, xsharmayne! That is more important to me than being skinny. I hope to be around for my children and future grandchildren for many, many years! :)

Thank you, RainbowBrite8! Am I reading your ticker correctly? Have you lost 258 pounds? Fan-flippin-tastic work, girl!!!

The photo on the left, taken in December 2009, was my rock bottom. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this picture. I knew at that moment I had to do something before it got more out of control. My daughter had just turned 2 years old at the time and I couldn't continue blaming it on baby weight. Enough was enough!!!…

A photo taken this past weekend on Mother's Day. Thank you all for your wonderful comments. They motivate me to stick with it and get back to my goal weight... plus do a better job of maintaining. Who says we have to grow old gracefully??? I plan to fight it every step of the way! LOL

^ Print this out and have him read it. Unless you express your feelings to him, he will not know how much this means to you. Good luck!

With all due respect to those who are telling you to eat more, I would like to add this... you can't out-exercise a poor diet. Take an honest look at your food intake and cut out as many processed foods as possible. Don't go over on your micros and macros either. If you add Sugar and Sodium to the nutrients you track, my…

Thank you, teenytinii! Being fun-sized has it's challenges. Every little pound shows on our smaller frames. But keep at it... you can do it! Beautiful wedding dress!!!

Awww, thank you! I'm flattered, Meraid! Pictures can be deceiving... but I "feel" much younger since losing some weight too. With two young children at home, it's nice to have the energy to keep up with them! It's funny you mention college... when I reached my goal weight, I weighed the same as I did in college. Here's the…

I'm still learning too, nutshel. :)

Thank you, jillybean! Gymnastics has taken a toll on my knees and joints, but I still try to stay flexible and strong through Taekwondo. I hope to be testing for my second degree black belt by the end of the year. I really miss gymnastics though... as I'm sure you do too. I'm glad you are inspired! Way to stick with it!!

I'm so glad you didn't give up, essenceofk! I love your attitude and outlook as you continue on. Small weight gains will happen for the rest of our lives. The trick is to catch it before it gets out of hand. Great job on making it fun!!!
-
Thank you, Velvetvisions! Yes, we are very close in stats. Congrats on your progress so far, that's fantastic! I haven't done very well in keeping it off but that's okay. Like you, I have the tools and know-how now to get back to where I left off. As long as you love who you are and the accomplishments you have achieved...…

That's the attitude I like to see!!! Best of luck to you, serenity216!

Originally from Minneapolis but live in Fargo now. Feel free to add me. I feel your pain when it comes to the weather. LOL!

Just know that it CAN be done! Take it one day at a time and one meal at a time. If you blow it, don't let it ruin your day. Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back on track with the very next meal. Don't worry about never having the food you love eating, instead try to clean up your diary one item at a time.…

Thanks, Sum38! I would not be where I am today (body and mind) without the support of my awesome MFP's! They know just when I need a good kick in the *kitten*. :)

Thank you, Bullygirl30! I was feeling a little down a couple weeks ago and needed a reality check. Although I'm not at my goal weight right now... I'm still leaps and bounds over where I started. :)
