My friends motivated me to do 120 push-ups, 60 bicep curls and 40 straight arm flies tonight. Woohoo!!!

There are a few challenges going on today! I decided to match one for 2 push-ups and my friend is already at 50+ LIKES! Looks like I'll be doing over 100 push-ups tonight, yikes! :)

I'm using it to my health advantage lately. I've been posting challenges for my friends to LIKE my status for different exercises. For every like, I will.... do 1 push-up, 2 crunches, 1 minute on the elliptical, etc. It's been a lot of fun and it's even inspired many of my FB friends to get off the couch and start working…

I do. But I do it to track patterns in my weight fluctuations so that I know what to expect each month. I don't freak out during my cycle anymore. :)

I would be happy to join you in that challenge! It will be tricky to plan ahead since we will be on the road most of next weekend (and in a hotel)... but this will help keep me focused, pack my own snacks and stick to my guns. Thanks for the challenge, Amy!

Secrets Capri, Maroma or Silversand? ;-) We go to Secrets Capri every April.

We never took one. We put a down payment on our first house and still live here today. Of course, that was 15 years ago and we are now taking the time to visit Playa del Carmen, Mexico each spring to make up for not going on a real honeymoon. It also helps that we don't have a mortgage payment anymore either. :)

And you are awesome, my friend!

I'm 5'2" and 44 years old. I started at 157 after the birth of my last child and I reached my goal weight earlier this year of 122. I actually surpassed it by a pound. I gained over the holidays and now just working to get back to goal. My Journey:…

Keep it simple to start with or you will find yourself binging on pizza every week. Take it from me... I know. ;-) The easiest way to start is to just start adding more fruits and vegetables in to your day. Eliminate one item at a time and try to replace it with a better choice. Cut back on your portions a little at a…

Since he is selfish, cater to those selfish needs while getting what you want. Think of ways he can benefit from your workouts. Examples that come to mind: - If he gives you 30 minutes to work out without being interrupted, you will make his favorite meal. - If he allows you to work out peacefully and on schedule, for…

We had our first child when I was 32. Our second came when I was 40. Although you will NEVER be ready for a baby, waiting until we were older made a world of difference. Our jobs were more stable, we owned a home and felt we were more responsible. I don't know if we would have been able to provide for them the way we do…

I have been told I look like an older version of Brenda Song. I had to Google her because I didn't have a clue. :)

It's weird, but I lost the most weight when I stopped exercising all the time and started eating more. True story! :) Read the link below called "My Journey" for what I needed to do to get my body to drop the weight. Without reading through the other comments, my observation is that you are choosing very healthy meals so I commend you for that! You are already doing your body good!!! The only thing I can see by your food diary is that you go over your carbs quite a bit. A suggestion would be to add Sodium and Sugar to your food diary…

We met over the 4th of July in lakes country at a bar called The Beaver Trap. Trust me... when the kids get older, their father and I will explain how we met at church. LOL!

I do the following even if I'm DRIVING the car. :) * Tightening my stomach muscles for the length it takes to get from one mile marker to the next. Then rest for a mile. Every other mile marker, I'm flexing my abs and continue for as long as I can. The longest I've been able to make it so far is 30 miles. * Same as above,…
