Hi - I lost over 40 lbs using the treadmill and for me it is all about the incline! Things that helped me: 1. iPad - I have Amazon Prime and can stream movies and TV free 2. Built up my endurance to the higher inclines (my gym has treadmills that go up to 30% incline but I started out only doing 6-9%) 3. Vary my speed and…

For anyone in Texas, there is a great brand called Three Happy Cows that I absolutely love. I've never found a greek yogurt I liked before until my neighbor gave me one of these. Since then I have been hooked. They have a few flavors - honey (AWESOME!!!), caramel, blueberry, plain, and strawberry. They even make it into…

Anything scraping metal...those metal brushes used to remove rust, filing metal, nails on a chalkboard, metal nail files, etc - physically gives me chills and makes me cringe just thinking about it

If you are concerned and have a family history, your best bet is to talk to your Dr about it. Good luck!

I season mine with a spicy rub (cajun seasoning or a spicy lemon pepper), bake and then top it with a cilantro pesto (blend cilantro, garlic, pine nuts, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper)...it is so good!

Definitely this! I still get my breakfast tacos (I LOVE barbacoa tacos!!!) at least a couple times a week but I make sure they fit in my daily calories and try to eat very healthy options the rest of the day and/or exercise enough to make up for it.

You can definitely tell a difference - congrats and keep up the good work!

I have become a big fan of Ross and TJ Maxx because I can supplement my work wardrobe pretty cheaply there as I continue to lose.

My goal is to be a size 6 - I am thinking somewhere around 135 will get me there but we'll see once I get a bit closer.

Men are typically larger and have more muscle than women (not 100% but generally speaking). Both of those things mean that men will typically have a higher BMR than women. As a result, if you and your boyfriend are eating the same diet, he will burn more of the calories without exercising than you would.

I would start with walks around your neighborhood - totally free and great exercise!

Prime rib with horseradish, au jus and garlic mashed potatoes...mmmmm (and GOOD beer)!!!

When I was a full-time student, I worked out pretty much every day (actually lost 25 lbs my freshman year). A few things that helped me - 1. I took an aerobics class one semester so that automatically gave me 3 days a week, 2. I got a job at the on-campus gym so it was very easy to either get to the gym early or stay a…

Muscle weighs more than fat so as you lose body fat but gain muscle, there may be times when the weight of the muscle you are gaining is greater than the fat you are losing. Hope this helps - good luck!
