Oh, and hello, all! I was 165 last July, got to 150 and have been holding steady there for about 4 months. Am on day #5 of working to lose another 25 lbs, at which point I should have a better BMI and meet my MD's hopes and expectations for shedding the excess body fat. It's super easy for me to avoid exercise, so I'm…

Yesterday I avoided temptation all day thanks to staying logged in to MFP and reading other people's motivation and success stories. (I was at work and kept thinking about a bag of cookies in my car. Fortunately, it's still there -- I left them alone.) Someone yesterday suggested a "just for today" approach to setting some…

The same subject is on my mind, and I was just reading this article on MFP this afternoon -- don't know how to paste the link here, but maybe you can search it: EAT / SO YOU WANT TO START/STOP / JANUARY 3, 2015 So You Want to Stop…Eating Your Kryptonite Food

I need help and motivation, and can offer same. I've lost 10 and have maintained it there for 4 months; want to return to "losing" mode and drop the remaining 25. Add me!

I'm new. I started using Medifast foods for the main part of a ketogenic diet (and have a free Take Shape for Life coach). I started all this around July 17 and it's working so far. I'm very happy to find a sense of support & community here -- and of course information.
