  • I don't log exercise, as I said I don't 'eat back' anything. Yes everything is accounted for and logged daily, down to measuring condiments even. I pre plan my menu actually and check things off each day as its easier to stay on track and pre cook and portion certain things to save time. Also keep track of water intake…
  • Just joined today-was 358 June 27 when I started doing menu planning and 'trying' again 9-19 329.4 Fridays are my 'official' weigh in days for the week
  • Joined today-rejoined the site in July. I'm 33, live in central FL, USA and have two children oldest just turned 4 and youngest is 16 months. Due with #3 Nov 7th. I'm a SAHM and do well with my plans for awhile then backslide. Joined a daily weigh in group on LCF but prefer this site overall, and trying to find a group…
  • Me, and I'm open to anyone who logs in regularly and is supportive and seeking others to help motivate and go thru the journey together! I log in regularly now that I rejoined in July and I have a lot to lose. Right now I have switched to trying to maintain though as having baby in 6 weeks. I eat healthy, drink lots of…
  • Highest that I/was weighed was 384, I'm 5 ft 8. Lowest I have saw was 253, and felt better then than I do now for sure. Based on what I see for 'normal' range I chose 170 as end goal. Honestly I think seeing a 1 would seem surreal. I think goal weight can changed based on how I feel when I get closet to 200
  • I would say remind yourself no one pays much attention, and honestly I don't think anyone looks any 'fatter' in certain clothes than others. It's a mental thing. Quit putting yourself down and Have fun!!
  • I use 32 oz bottles and make sure to drink 4 per day. I keep track on paper where I have my menu/meal plan and try to incorporate into my daily routine so by 4pm I have drank 3 of them. It was hard in the beginning but slowly worked up.
  • Entenmann's chocolate frosted devils food donuts
  • I it and kept going up and down for awhile last time. I realized was a mental block more than anything else so I quit weighing daily and focused on sticking to the same plans I made for myself. The lowest I have saw since ever trying to lose was 253 a couple years ago. Anyone else seem to get 'stuck' around the 300 line or…
  • Hello just joined this group and YES I am looking forward to seeing a 2 at the beginning again hopefully before the year is over. We can all do it!
  • Hello all, just saw this thread so jumping in today :) sw: 384 cw: 329 (sep 1) gw: 170 Sep 1: 329.2 Sep 6: 326.0 Sep 13: 323.6 Sep 30 goal: 320
  • I use zucchini, in fact I had some yesterday while the kids have regular pasta. I slice thin like angel hair size. Then put in strainer and coat with salt, put over a bowl or dish to catch water. Can cover with something-I let mine sit between half hour to an hour depending when we are eating. Then rinse very well-I set…
  • welcome back and yes just get back on track when you slip up, it's human :)
  • Great topic, and I agree it's hard to break that habit. I have been eating to stifle feelings since I was a young child and have spent years using it for comfort. I do ok short term then anything happens and bam a binge and a bad cycle and before I know it I want to give up. I mean you can know what to do instead, and…
  • I need to lose more than that, and I have faith in myself I can make it happen. Feel free to add me and we can support one another along the way. Kinda new to the forums but I am here daily. Setting mini goals for yourself along the way can help, it helped me immensely. Also, I know what you mean about not passing on bad…
  • I don't think it would matter if you had surgery as not, as the surgery is just a tool to help people lose. I was 384 and lowest I got was 253 and already was quite flabby even though I worked out. I plan to have surgery once I'm done having kids and get to a healthy weight. I envision it as a motivation because when your…
  • me too, feel free to add me :)
  • I just bought a new extra wide digital scale on amazon, and it goes up to 550 lbs. Your profile says you are at/around 450 so if I were you I would just buy a scale that goes to 500 or 550 so you know it wont be an issue. It's called Jobar International JB5824 Extra Wide Talking Scale. Great deal at $28.45 with free…
  • Me too. Feel free to add me. 33 and need to lose another 150-170
  • We join site/s like this one :) Seriously, no one is here for support in person for me. In fact my husband is bringing home everything I like junk food wise that he doesn't even usually buy. Things he doesn't even eat, I have looked at this box of my fav donuts for over a week now. He can eat what he wants and never goes…
  • Sweet baby ray's BBQ sauce
  • as others have suggested, save calories for then. I am back to writing out my actual menu for the day at least the day before, just easier for me to not go looking for food when Im hungry. I actually have my dinner between 8 and 9 pm. then have something else about an hour later. I lost over 100 pounds before last…
  • Walking on treadmill again today, AND passing up the devils food frosted donuts (my favorite and I'm so wanting chocolate right now!) and having healthy meal/s instead
  • I have about the same amount still to lose. Highest was 384, goal is 160 and I'm 335 now. Slowly losing now but having baby in few months so nothing extreme. I'm 33, atheist, and would love to find supportive people who are here at least semi regularly.
  • I take prenatal (gummy) vitamins while pregnant and until done nursing. Doctor tried give me rx for prenatal pills but took regular pills for first pregnancy and they are terrible. Congrats on your pregnancy btw :)
  • Not sure what logging means-but wanted to respond. I am pregnant as well and at first I was gaining weight. After going out of state to visit family and gaining 20 pounds I decided to actively try to lose especially as I hadn't lose weight from my 9 month old when I got pregnant as was still nursing and figured I would…
  • Awesome motivation, I'm 340 now. You look amazing and doing that in one year just Wow! :) Love the idea of the pics, I'm going to come here when I want to snack and shouldn't be!
  • Welcome Tanya :) Sound like me, I want a real life, to actually LIVE it not just watch it pass by.
  • Welcome back and you can do it! :)
