umm i had to google it.... i don't know if i could follow a diet that dismisses spinach, tomatoes, peppers & avocados because they are "night-colored" and extremely "yin".. i like sticking to my calorie goal and filling it in as clean as possible that fits my lifestyle.. i don't think it needs to be over-complicated..…

The first one hands down... it looks classier

you look kind of small.. when you're close to your weight loss goal, there really isn't a reason for you to be eating that low. if adding 100 calories to your goal increases your chance of success i'd rather stick to 1300 then stay down at 1200

I'm also pretty bad at it so I've consciously been trying to add it in. Typically you should be getting more potassium than sodium. A lot of fruits and veggies are high in potassium... spinach, avocados, peppers, grapes, raisins, plums, ... Also coconut water and v8 low sodium are high. You could try googling it.. I think…

Yeah I don't think that's bad. It just means that you're conscious of your posture and tightening your core. You'll see a lot of older women do it unconsciously because it was how a young girl was "supposed to sit" - back straight, stomach in, feet flat on the floor as I've always heard it.

Congrats.. your body defies the laws of thermodynamics

why not do green tea. it has antioxidants. I drink a cup of coffee in the morning on weekdays, and sometimes one in the afternoon to kick the afternoon sluggishness after lunch. I don't touch the stuff on weekends.

I gain during my period and then the next week I'm back to normal. It's from the bloat and extra eating to keep my stomach at bay. I don't up my cals but if I go over I don't worry about it because I know I'll go back to normal after the first 3 days or so.

Happened to me when I started lifting.. my dr had me track it and it eventually returned to normal. I'd say track it and see what happens but def give your gyno a heads up (oh and pee on a stick.. you never know.)

now I know you don't really believe that do you?

I usually do the last set to failure. That's when I know I'm using the right intensity & getting an efficient workout. I don't know how lean you are but I can usually feel the "pump" in my muscles when I'm done with a good workout.

I superset butterflies, bicycles & leg raises on a bench together. You have to be careful not to give out your back with it though. And I finish my abs days with planks. I ALWAYS feel them the next day. Just a side note - if you can do 30 reps of anything, you're not going to feel it the next day because it's too easy for…

usually we're harder on ourselves than others are on us. they're your family and they'll love you at any size. i'd rather let them see my fun-loving side rather than my depressive side. you should be able to let go and have fun in front of your family more than anyone else.

BethanyAnn - At 16 years old, your body is still developing and you need to eat more not less. That's why MFP does not allow you on here at such a young age. When I was 16 years old, I was thinking about Junior Prom, the next house party and whether I was going to finish my english paper on time. If its body image issues…

Agreed. I don't think you should lock a teen away for bullying but there does need to be serious repercussions.. behavioral therapy or such. While the teen that committed suicide did it because he is still in a developmental stage in his/her life and doesn't fully understand how to cope with issues, the bully is at the…

I usually get ones that cinch at the waist. I shop around to see which ones I like better that fit the best. They're made for all sorts of shapes and sizes so you'll probably have to try some on to see what shape/style is the best fit for you.

I didn't lose anything for the first few weeks or so and then all of a sudden the evil scale decided to give in. Give it some time. It may take some time for the extra fat to budge.

or the personal trainers at your local gym. I'm sure one of them can answer a few questions to get you started.

when I was doing yoga & pilates my hips were definitely getting tighter

definitely not just for women.. thanks for posting that!

Agreed. I generally eat healthy, but I'm a grown up with a nurse for a mom and a doctor for an older sister so I've heard it all before & if there's something I've heard about and haven't changed, I'm not going to. Now where's that IV drip of 100 ccs NaCl...

^^this! You can add abrasive and think we are the biggest deal/most important city on the map.. Superiority complex much? haha I'm a Scorpio... I'm introverted, hard to read, have very strong intuitions and can size people up from a mile away. I'm the youngest of four and always get my way :-P

I really am confused about why you feel like this because I read this and pictured an ugly person and then looked at your picture. You really are not by any means ugly. 90 lbs down is a great feat and I'm sure you have a beautiful daughter too. There so many upsides in your life. Don't negate that by giving yourself…

exactlyy.. i'm consistent the rest of the month and then all of a sudden I get these random cravings... and then after the first day I'm like "uh oh! I need to get back in gear" and i'll get back to being good lol I guess that's why it hasn't worried me too much

only if you pair it with an unhealthy snack to balance out.. where's that cheesecake that you were talking about?!

if you're in the "My Home" tab, click on "Goals" at the top and then "change goals"

I usually go for NY&Co or Express but you may even be able to find some at dept stores. I have the same body shape and I've been buying mine at Macy's lately because my size keeps changing recently and you can always find good bargains there around this time of year.

5'3" here ... starting weight (my highest weight.. thanks college!) was 140. my current weight is 127. goal weight is 120 (i'll re-analyze when I get there if I want to go any lower to lean out).
