I'd always suggest striving to challenge yourself. go for it. one thing that you have to remember is that weight loss gets harder as you become more fit, if you do lower your goal make sure you increase the intensity of your workouts (if not you will find yourself scratching your head as you plateau). i made a brief statement towards protein shakes and weight loss in my last post in this thread.. but the focus of it is..to make sure the protein content is high enough (and the calories NOT CARBS..are low enough) that you don't have to take too many shakes per day to get your desired amount of protein.
