I do something similar to this. I buy green bananas and use the plastic bag they come in to wrap around the stem.

@Christine_72 I'll weigh it and log it... but then again I do use a whole lot of garlic for some dinners, sometimes I"ll use maybe half a head of garlic or sometimes a whole head when I make roasted garlic to mix with butter. LOL... too many times to count. Too many different diets that I tried and failed... until I realized I didn't have to deny myself any food to lose weight, as long as I stick to my daily calories. So simple and easy - wish I had learned this so much sooner.

Apples? I weight it whole, eat it, then weigh the core that's leftover. Subtract that from the original weight.

I eat on the couch as I have no table. I don't think where you eat dictates how much you eat. If you have self control, eat only what you have served yourself, and stick to your daily calories, then you'll lose weight.

I weigh twice a week - Mondays and Fridays. Although I'll weigh throughout the week just to see what's going on.

Yeah, the only time I drank that much water was during summer, and it wasn't hot like a Texas summer. But man was I thirsty!! Right now, sometimes I'll drink as little as two 16oz bottles of water. Still losing weight just fine. :drinker:

Yeah, sodium will do that. But don't worry, it's just water weight... all is not lost!! Just keep going with your normal deficit today and drink water. That water weight will eventually disappear. :smile:

I curl up into a ball and rest... or if it's a month that's not too bad, I do light exercises. It all depends on how I feel, so I just listen to my body. I'm not usually hungry on the first couple of days, so I don't worry much about staying on goal with my daily calories. But if I am hungry, I'll eat at maintenance.

Depends on how I wake, hungry or not. When I don't wake up hungry, I'll usually eat breakfast foods at lunchtime. As long as you stick to the amount of calories given to you by the end of the day, that's what matters for weight loss. :smile:

I save calories for the sweet stuff that I want to eat. I couldn't live without it.

Hey if you don't want to eat breakfast , that's fine. What matters is that at the end of the day you've eaten the amount of calories given to you. You can eat whatever meals work for you and still lose weight. :)

Oh this is so true!! Just this morning a news segment came on about cooking a romantic dinner and I told my love, "Oh hell no I ain't cooking on Valentine's Day! I cook everyday." If the restaurant doesn't have their own nutrition data, I search for another restaurant's similar food and log that as a close estimation.
