I got nothing! I bought an eliptical for my house (just moved in 6 months ago) and I have not really been using my eliptical. Signed up for MFP yesterday so that I could try and log my caloric intake and exercise, but I still have not gotten on the equipment yet. Maybe logging my exercise here will help with my…

Try dicing up some apples to throw in with it. I prefer my oatmeal to be cooked though. That way when you put the apples (and cinnamon) in, the apples soften a little. I also like brown sugar too. Not as many calories as regular sugar and it sweetens it up.

The more exercise calories you have, means that you can actually eat more from food while still maintaining your diet. For example, if your tracker suggests that you consume 2000 calories a day and that you…

Crockpots are a good way to cook when you are short on time: My receipe for a good roast with very little sodium. Buy a roast (any will do), ask the butcher for a length of roast rope - free to tie the roast. Take it home and make slits in the roast about 1 in apart. Fill the openings with dried basil on both sides of the…

Healthy weight loss is obtained over time. What you are doing is likely to change your weight in the short-term, but do you really want to maintain this "diet" in the long-term. Small changes in lifestyle behaviors are likely to produce higher long-term results. For example, skipping breakfast may seem like a good…
