weights are gonna be your best friend for losing body fat:) I was where you are. It took years for me to gain the weight and it's taking me about the same to lose it. Don't give up:)

agreed!
-
haha...that's what I was thinking lol
-
I know what you mean! We are all much harder on ourselves...
-
wow...All I did was offer my opinion. Just because some of you don't agree with it you think it's ok to bully? I have thick skin but that was really uncalled for. And yes for myself to many carbs are a problem.

what's your diet like? Muscle weighs more than fat. If you have alot to lose then it will take longer. Are you getting enough fats and protein?? To many carbs can be a problem. Try keeping your carb intake under 30 grams a day for 6 days then on your 7th day for dinner eat carbs and have dessert. Then the next day start…

agreed on the Vitamin D

Ultra low Carb might be a good solution for you
-
I did too :) Most of the health issues I was having have slowly gone away just from changing how I eat.
-
ohhh and eat real bacon! lol
-
:) nothing low fat..lol..your body needs fats. What it does not need is alot of sugar/carbs. My diet is like this, meats like steak, fish, chicken, I drink coffee with coconut oil and heavy whipping cream, nut's are a great snack like almonds ( not the flavored kind ) I don't eat fruit because fruit sugars are the worst. I…

I hope I have given you some information you are interested in:)

ok, so right off the bat all I could see was sugar. The carb and sugar count is really high in beans, fruit, rice, bread, granola bars, oatmeal etc.... you should check out Carb Back Loading/ Carb Nite Solutions by John Kiefer.. A great website to check out is http://body.io/ There are pod casts to listen too and really…

ohh no!! I'm sorry:( I'll take a look and see if maybe I can help:) If not then there is always google! :)

I know what you are talking about. How much sugar do you have a day? Do you eat processed foods etc? My daughter struggled with hypoglycemia as well. I finally got her on the same program as I am currently on which is ultra low carb and it's been 3 months since she has had problems. ( she is 25 :) It's so hard to find what…

The reason I ask is because I have a family member with the same thing and she went ultra low carb...sugar was a huge problem for her.....Surges of insulin that follow eating or drinking something sugary or starchy (sweet coffee drinks, desserts, bowls of pasta or rice, bread, etc.) trigger the inflammatory TH-17 activity,…

Hi! Have you considered going ultra low carb?
-
also if your looking to shed body fat stick to 30 grams or less of carbs per day. Try to cut out as much sugar as you can:)
-
depends on the carb count/sugar Anything that's low fat =sugar You can get 100% whey protein muscle milk If thats what you like. I drink alot of protein shakes mostly post workout. Sometimes 3 a day depending on what I'm doing. I am ultra low carb and it works for me:) Good luck!

I have this love/hate relationship with scales lol I have one that does the body fat etc..I have calibrated it to many times to count and it always gives me different readings. The one thing I did notice was that I had a tendency to lean a little to the left or put more weight on my left foot...not sure why. Anyway, I…

If your trying to lose body fat, eating slow digesting carbs like sweet potatoes, brown rice etc is the wrong way to go...I am on an ultra low carb plan that allows me to have one full carb night a week to eat whatever I want. All 6 other days I'm ultra low carb and have lost body fat and it's still coming off! I work out…

Is there any way you would consider getting up and going before work?? I worked for many years and found that if I went early I have tons of energy, however instead of coffee I would use a pre-workout (drink) from the local place here in town called Nutishop. That kept me going pretty much all day and I found I did not…

well said!!

wow...you really need to stop all the processed foods! Your sodium is out of control! That will play a MAJOR part in your weight loss. Please watch the movie " Food Inc " it's on netflex, you will look at the foods you eat in a whole different way. You are killing your body by eating things like country crock,…

stop eating processed foods, move more..I have struggled with my weight for years too. I did the whole weight loss classes, pills ect...they don't work!! I know I am still learning about foods etc.. watch the movie " Food Inc " It's on netflex..trust me when I say you will never look at food the same again...
-
I agree:)
-
yup!

First off, congratulations on your success so far! You and I are pretty much the same size etc..What I have learned in this process is that the numbers on the scale mean nothing to a certain degree. If you are seeing changes like dropping a pant size etc but the numbers on the scale say otherwise its because you are losing…

Agreed! The only time I have carbs now is right after my workout which is about noon 5-6 days a week. Your body needs the sugars after an intensive workout. Other than that I to stick to meats, veggies etc..Oh except when I want a beer! lol
