I am doing IF and it is the simplest thing I have ever done for weight loss. I am also trying to be mostly plant-based. I have a 4-8 hour eating window depending on my schedule. I have 2-3 glasses of water and coffee in the morning, a healthy hearty lunch, and then I eat dinner immediately when I get home. I either cook…

I totally agree with the idea of self-control fatigue. My work is mentally exhausting, and when I am tired and hungry at the end of the day I tend to make poor food choices, avoid exercise, etc. I am trying to limit the amount of time spent making decisions about food and trying to make decisions on nutrition when I am not…

I have a mostly plant-based diet. I cook vegetarian stuff at home and end up having about 1-2 servings of fish/meat/eggs/dairy per week (at restaurants, friends' houses, etc). You can add me if you want. I feel better and tend to lose weight more easily when I focus on shoving a ton of fruits, veggies, and beans into all…

Injured my back last week and so I have been basically sedentary...but I focused on eating really healthy all week and lost a couple pounds!

You might be getting too tired/hungry from all of your exercising. I've had periods of time where I have gotten really tired and it ended up being from overexercising (long cardio workouts, HIIT, and weights). Also when I was really active (especially weights and HIIT) I was so hungry all the time and it was hard to lose…

can you eat any legumes (black beans, lentils, chickpeas, etc)? Some people with fruit & veg allergies are ok with legumes. You could make momemade bean mixes, homemade hummus, etc. That would help with fiber and feeling full on fewer calories.

If you have sleep apnea at a low weight it might be because of big tonsils or something

Although you may have gotten rid of your sleep apnea with all the weight loss you've had.

Your sleep apnea is the most likely reason you are feeling tired. With your sleep apnea you are never getting restful sleeps. Getting your CBC (complete blood count), thyroid, iron, B12, and glucose checked might be helpful. Problems digesting gluten or lactose could also be culprits. If I were you i'd get those general…

Lifting is also good motivation because you can often see improvements in strength faster than you see your body shape changing. It also helps you feel like an athlete!
-
Lift heavy as early on as you can. Gaining some muscle now will help protect your joints from injury as you strive to be more active. You'll also look leaner and the extra muscle will boost your metabolism to speed your weightloss (or allow you to eat more). If you enjoy it...do it! I prefer weights to cardio and so I do…

american eagle jeans are flattering if you have a tummy and they have petite length
-
If you can buy a few weights/resistance bands and do even 20 minutes a day of strength training at home you can probably gain a couple pounds of lean muscle. You'll look leaner and you can fairly easily raise your BMR by a couple hundred calories to give yourself more wiggle room for food. Or you could do some bodyweight…

I tend to feel more happy when the scale is working with me trending downwards and less happy when it is creeping up....and the actual number matters a lot less than the way that it is heading. I feel happier now losing 2 pounds than gaining 2 lb or holding steady 5 years ago at 10-15lbs lighter! And I feel crummier…

Hey! I'm 26F from Canada and I just joined the site today. I've slowly lost 15 lbs or the past year or so but progress has stalled so i'm looking to get re-motivated. I have about 30 lbs more to lose and i'm hoping to spend the next month or two kickstarting that with -10. I enjoy healthy food and exercise...especially…
