Nice job! and abs! whoa!

Update: Still decluttering. I had a few months to recover my exhausted body between jobs and I mostly rested. I did a few decluttering days. Now, I realize I have more stuff than I thought. As a mother, I kept a lot of the kids' artwork, schoolwork, etc. I have decided to put them in separate totes, take them out with the…

Great job! I understand the weigh in and then binge thing. Glad you could overcome that! Keep moving, it is key to health and keeping balance. ^5

Awesome job! Back pain sadly is a good motivator. Looking like a rock star!

I binge eat a lot more than I ever thought. Have noticed it lately. An entire box of cereal, a whole bag of chips, and some of it is so mindless I get annoyed with myself. I just forget I am consuming calories I do not need, in foods that are usually not very nutritious.

Be proud of wanting better for yourself, my friend. Now it is time to make that your priority and don't listen to that pizza when it says, eat me, you'll feel better... bc chances are you will feel worse. (Emotional Eater here, maybe some are not but cheese always LIES to me.) I am back up at a weight I cannot believe I…

Thank you for this post! It is good to see others lose gain lose... I am at an all time high weight looking at health issues if I do not act on this. I like your lists! I will take from this, and ty again for sharing! :)

I am working on decluttering stuff. I have a disabling emotional attachment to my crap. Crap in totes I only look through when I move to a new place. Crap from my last marriage that can go in the dumpster with the ex... I agree it will help to have a more organized space. I look for things constantly and get frustrated and…

Looking great! Just keep going. That red lip look is really awesome on you! :)

Great Job! I love when people post side by sides. Mine will be up here one day, promise. I hear you on the limited because of weight issue. I am slower than everyone else at my job I think bc I am the only obese person there. I am determined to do better, and now I feel weight loss HAS to be priority. Cheers!!!

About to turn 48, feeling great and still have about 60 pounds or so to lose. Fresh 2nd divorce, kids aged 29 and 20. Anyone needs another support person add me. I am trying to make more effort to be present here, though I do log my workouts on MapMyWalk. I am not single, so anyone trolling for a gf pass me by, and good…

Turning 47 in a couple months and started taking fitness seriously within the last 2 years. I had gotten so heavy I couldn't tie my own shoes (humiliating) and sweat walking down the driveway. Now dancing, walking daily, even if it is at my new job. DOwn 35 pounds but have at least 50 to go. I am real, honest, a mother of…

I definitely want in this club. However, my days are varied due to work so reporting in may take longer. I turn 47 this fall, and am healthier than I was in my 20's, although I am heavier. (Working on it!) I have lost 32 of the 80 pounds I want to shed, struggle with emotional eating and getting enough nutrients into my…

45, married, just started kickboxing for fitness and would love to have new friends on here, not that the few I have are not awesome! Looking for more commonalities, so I can cheer others on.

Have the conversation with yourself: is this necessary? will I have earned this? I used to find myself finishing bags of chips at my computer, not even TASTING them. Water definitely helps me, and I have my phone to distract me when I am bored now. Angry Birds is terribly addicting.

Around there, closer to 90, but add me!

I definitely relate to the "addiction," but for me it is all related to hormones, stress, and the feeling of feeling better. It is a mental health issue, at the base of it. The original post said the bloated feeling after felt bad, which is exactly how I feel after giving in to a fast food craving. I don't think some…

I am also trying to get going on a keto eating plan. I am addicted to sugar and it is slowly making me heavier, and the teeth... So, I am trying to compile recipes, snack ideas, etc so I do not get bored. Luckily I like having a basic diet, I just need to stop buying garbage to put in my body. I am worth it and so are you…

I am trying the no carbs, it makes me actually crave bread, chips, bagels, pizza... Oh the pizza. What happened to me was I felt deprived, so then I binge on carbs. I have taken to LOW amounts of carbs, and they have to be worth it. Not a bag of chips, but a piece of freshly baked bread with olive oil. Is that martini I…

I like the idea of ruling out complete crap from being purchased. It is not a right to buy junk food, it is a choice, and a luxury one at that, since soda and energy drinks have zero nutrition. The SNAP program was designed to help people in need eat healthier and to assist in food cost. If you don't want to be regulated,…

I had to reset my goal weight to do this. In settings, I believe, under "goals".

When I was in a weight loss program, they put a half pound into perspective: take 2 sticks of butter and really eyeball it. That is what you lost at .5 pounds. That is quite normal! If you rush it, long term you will be disappointed with plateaus and mistakes. You sound like you are doing just right! Keep on your journey.

Looking for more 40+ pals that want to motivate one another, share recipes, etc. All positive thinkers welcome! Active, large frame, trying to avoid gastric sleeve surgery by restructuring my lifestyle and eating habits.

I am also starting again! Not tracking had me gain a bit back, and I was feeling great. The holidays are the best excuse for me to gain weight. No more! Kudos for getting back here and let's make this our year!

43, third real weight loss journey. I have over 100 pounds this time to shed, according to my doctor. I like to weigh 180-190. Right now, at 283 and holding, even with eating less and exercise 3x a week. Stepping it up now, hoping to lose at least 10% of my weight by my birthday in November. I am looking to add friends,…

2 cookies and a nice cold glass of skim milk (or unsweetened coconut/almond/rice milk) would be a nice snack. The calories are somewhat empty, but for the delight of enjoying a cookie or two, a walk could help out.

Great job! Your happiness shows in your face now! Life is what we make it, so why not fabulous! :)

I love pizza. I think it is an addiction, emotionally the warm cheese makes me feel better. My body says it is making me fluffy. I made a pizza with a Flat-Out brand flatbread, 3 thin slices of salami and some lowfat shredded mozzarella... tasted good, saved me about 500 calories. Maybe try making your own pizza on…

Thanks for sharing that recipe! i love grapenut pudding, and this looks like a super alternative! :)
