If you are talking about what do I eat at restaurants as far as meals...Well, typically I try to look up the nutrution facts for the place before I go, that way, I know exactly what I should order (vs what I really want to order) and try to keep it as simple as I can so I don't run into what you are talking about, the…

In order to get to my office every day, I have to go up the stairs....There are only like 12 or so, I don't think I ever really counted them, but I must go up and down them at least 5 times *and most days a lot more!* so I am with you on using the stairs, there is no elevator for me.

ooo you can say it...Its just that I didn't want 30 people to say it, seems like that is THE thing these days...

Get the book Eat This Not That and carry it with you. Then when they decide where they are going, you can make good decisions! I too love these books, its very helpful. But I also say, look up the facts on the places your co workers frequent, that way you can still go and eat with them and know of good choices to make. If…

I LOOOVEEE to sing. I plug in head phones, youtube my favorite songs and belt it out. I also like to read, (public libraries are your friend) and have made the gym my hobby. I like to go for walks along the track near my house (when I have a friend to accompany me). I like the gardening idea someone threw out. I don't have…

umm. try one of the boca burgers, I have eaten them before, they remind me a bit of burger king and then just bake some fries in the oven...? Sort of like fast food, but not quite as evil?? Good luck, I have been fighting with my ice cream cravings since its so bloody hot...

Thanks peeps. But please don't get me wrong...I do eat. I eat my 3 squares a day and sometimes snacks and plenty of water and all that...I am just basically saying that my appetite is changing and I just don't want as much...Now, though I am scared to death of gaining back what I have lost because of that stupid little…

Good Question, I wonder about that too...I have been eating way under and getting in more exercise...I too am not really hungry. I always get the little message that says my body will think it is starving, so then I get worried I will gain my pounds back...Hmm.

I was VERY discouraged my first week using MFP. I was ready to give up too...Some really awesome people though called me out on my pity party and told me to stick with it, that I CAN do it. So far I think I have been a member a little over a month and have lost about 6 pounds. I don't know about Jenny Craig, but I can tell…

No, I totally hear you. I just always log what it says from the machines at the gym. But you are right, that can totally set someone up for (unintentional) failure to have the numbers off so much. I try to guesstimate my exercise as much as I can, whether its walking in the grocery store or the trips up and down the stairs…

I understand how you feel and what you are saying. I think a lot of people experience something similar.

Maybe you should not focus on the scale so much and start focusing on your health more...Your body is going to be much happier when you are eating better and working out. Just because the scale isn't moving doesn't mean you should give up. Taking care of yourself is always a good thing whether or not your losing weight or…

If you feel the temptation or just for the convenience of it use a drive thru, try to look up before hand what you can order off of the menus that wont kill your day. I still go to restaurants and socialize with friends out to dinner and eat fast food (not all the time mind you) and I am still managing to lose weight. I…

Thank you for sharing this, its wonderful! I hope I actually need to buy a belt again someday...Although I am very happy to read about your sucess, I am sad to hear that there is no such thing as a cheetos tree...(They are my fav, I don't have them often, and I actually love the baked cheetos)

I will be wearing mine in september...will be looking for more buff arms and a toned back and shoulder area~! good luck!

I certainly hope you start feeling better! I have a friend that is actually allergic to aspartame and artificial sweetners, so he feels you. I also read somewhere that sometimes diet drinks can actually cause you to crave sweets, so I only drink them when I know sweets will not be near me so I am not tempted! I use sweet n…

I don't know what I would choose, but I read in a really strange fact book one time that the most requested last meal for death row inmates is KFC. Probably not the info you wanted, but I just thought I would throw that in there...

awesome! Invest in a belt though, don't want to lose the pants!

Welcome and best of luck for you achieving your goal!

No, No you are not! Until you get used to the smaller size, you will feel those rumblings in your belly. Your body may be craving more food cause that is what its used to. I usually would eat a healthy snack or have some water to keep it from driving me nuts!! I also upped my calories to 1400 recently because I felt insane…
