Seen a post on another forum regarding diet sodas.... Fact or more fiction?

MyProtein Impact Whey Isolate ( which I use) is only 97 cals for a 23g hit of protein
-
Feel free to add me if you like

My Tuna meal tends to be my main evening meal so not really low calorie, normally 1 tin of no drain tuna, 1 bag of Tilda rice (250g) and about 100g of sweetcorn....put it all in a bowl, stir together and eat, for about 600+cals

Yes to being a meat eater and I'm glad someone picked on my hypothetical slant. If we all become vegan and no longer consume meat or animal by products then what use are these animals to us? They would take up valuable farm land that can be used to grow grain. At best these animals become endangered, most likely extinct.…

I'm doing my part to help maintain the healthy levels of cattle in this country......
-
I'm Bristol based so your more than than welcome to scan mine, however I'm rather lazy and tend to stick with foods I know I like and work for me.
-
Veganism is not for me but if it works for you on a moral, spiritual or physical level then I have no issue. I like having the option of eating meat when I want it and as an ex slaughter man I don't have much left in the way of morals on the subject.

Do you stand on the band with both feet? If you do then change to a single foot and see if that helps.

Could not be bothered to write out all I've eaten so just posted a screenie of my diary, also not shown is a protein shake I would of had first thing this mornin.
-
Hmm didn't realise that was still an issue, my phone is Android but I actually use my iPad mini for Polar Flow and most of my MFP logging so oblivious to any issues.
-
I've upgraded a few times through the Polar range and I now use a Polar Loop 2 and I've been very happy with it. It tracks all my activity, syncs with Polar Flow which in turn will sync with MFP and will also pair with the H7 chest strap for your cardio workouts.

Why anyone would choose to buy Dasani is beyond me.
-
All I would say is that excessive protein will slow down your digestive tract that can cause your stools to compact (which are not pleasant to pass), so you need to make sure your fibre intake is on point to help speed things back up.

I have a protein shake every morning to kick start my day. I've tried a few brands here in the UK and settled on MyProtien's Impact Whey Isolate. Pound for pound it's probably the best isolate out there with the unflavoured version 98% protein content per 25g serving.
-
-
Most packaged foods here in the UK have a 'traffic light' system of nutrition per serving on the front. This typically shows nutrients in weight, their recommended daily intake % and a colour coding from green, Amber to red to indicate that RI % per serving
-
That's why I tend to log my foods from the pack nutritional info and convert it myself instead of taking MFP's logged versions
-
I'm sure it's useful for some but I dislike the fact it's advertised on the premise that if you eat to much sugar you will get fat...which is a simplistic twisting of the facts.
-
I find myself wanting to be more active, unfortunately my wife prefers to sleep
-
I don't log things like coffee because I drink it black with sweeteners. Tea I have splash of milk so will log that if need be but water I don't log as I don't drink water by the cup but by the litre and I can't be arsed faffing around with the conversion.

I've never been to Weight Watchers but when I first started my journey I used an app that used their points system. I lost about 50lb however I eventually stalled as counting points doesn't train you to eat better or give you much of an insight into portion control or nutrition. You tend to just look at the points, fit it…

Just measure I'm millilitres and leave the cups in the cupboard.
-
2 Weetabix biscuits and 150ml milk is my breakfast of choice most morning, 208cals. I change it up every now and then though.
-
I buy absolutely loads of Kale, the bunnies love it.....
-
I use it as a sugar substitute sprinkled on my weetabix most morning with no side effects.
-
Just watched the first episode on catch up, interesting program.
-
Just make sure your intake of fibre is not to low if your pushing high numbers of protein
-
Fat free Cottage Cheese with Pineapple....so good it may as well be pudding, and that's normally how I eat it. A whole 300g tub after my evening meal.

Ground Black Pepper, Cinnamon and English Mustard.
