3 oz or 32 oz it doesn't matter, if you can work it in and meet your goals then it wont destroy anything. Some people calorie intake is higher than other people so they get to enjoy a bit more food.

They also make a salted caramel one.

This is what it comes down to. I have a lot more control now than I did before and I can have treats now. I don't lose control and devour whole things though I do have an out of schedule snack now and then.
-
It's the best thing I've tasted in a long time.

Any effort is destroyed when you go over your calories but I enjoy a snickers bar here and there and I've just discovered Karamel Sutra ice cream.

So again, where do we take responsibilities for ourselves? Are you able to tell your children no? Are you able to weigh the pro's and con's of these items? Are you getting the proper exercise that keeps up with your diet? No, I don't blame the companies, I blame a lack of education in nutrition and the fact that people are…

Gooey Oreo Double Chocolate Cake Bars is soooo freaking good. It's sooo sweet but awesome at the same time http://sprinklejoy.net/2011/07/11/gooey-oreo-double-chocolate-cake-bars/

Why do you need green tea if it's making you sick? Don't force yourself to have anything that makes you unwell.
-
What are you trying to do!?! Don't you know just saying that name is going to summon the four horsemen of the apocalypse? Don't invoke that name!
-
How did you come up with this? I don't eat breakfast at all and regulate a majority of my calories for end of the day use because that's when I know I'm going to eat the most and I've lost about 67lbs so far.
-
Yes, this was my problem too until I found a lovely therapist. It's okay to talk to someone, don't be ashamed too is the best advice I can give. I wish I would of told someone sooner.

I haven't cut anything out as well, well I did at first and it led to more binging. Or I would binge so hard and not eat the next day at all to make up for my *mistake*, I find that slowly facing the food helps you to overcome it.Though, I'm not always that strong. I still have a hard time at work as well because there's…

This is also happening to me. I manually set mine to 1300 and it wants to stay at 1230. I find the the MFP website keeps the 1300 but the phone app refuses to move from the 1230 and it puts me over each time I close out at 1300 calories.

Is this take out food? Food you made? Something someone made for you? What type of food are you having trouble finding?

There's no guarantee of much of anything in life but that does not mean you do not put in the effort. You can teach your child right and wrong, teach your child not to steal or hurt other people. But there is no guarantee that they will grow up to be a saint but again you made an effort to provide the base your child needs…

I started ordering smaller versions of things. You can ask for half portions, at least some restaurants in VT allow you to.
-
I'll agree to that. I believe we aren't educating our children on what nutrition is overall. We need to teach them what calories, fat, protein, fiber, sugar etc is and how it ties into an overall balanced diet. We should educate them on what a portion actually is. This needs to be done in the home.
-
So you want to be baby sat? You want someone to take those dastardly oreos away from you so someone else can decide what your best interests are. In moderation, for a child a treat is a treat. If you teach your child a treat is a treat and not an all consuming thing then they grow up to learn what moderation is. They grow…

I don't think that includes children who bring their own lunches. I think it only applies to what the school actually serves.

I actually usually don't eat much on the weekends. I have to remind myself to eat lunch or I'd end up only eating dinner that day and try to put as many calories into that one meal. I usually do poorly during the week because of work and home stresses. It's strange.

Yep! My office is the hub of cakes, cookies, candy, different types of freshly baked pastries and doughnuts. I had to learn not to jump on them. My day is prelogged and if I eat the stuff hanging around my office it throws off all my other calories and I'm too lazy to mess with them and figure out how to reduce my calories…

Because frying something requires a larger volume of oil than you actually eating. So when I fry I use about a cup and a half of oil because I don't fry big pieces but I'm not eating a cup and a half of oil.
-
I don't think a lot of people see it as a hassle and unfortunately some people are just not good at estimating. You see a lot of threads from people saying they haven't lost any weight or they stopped losing weight and they can't figure out why.
-
Very informative! Thank you for putting this together!
-
Okay this made me laugh out loud.
-
You eat , don't skimp on food because you're over. One day or so is not going to ruin all your hard work. Start fresh tomorrow.
-
I agree, it's just that the oreos are up to debate so I wanted to put them to the side.
-
Other than the oreos what part of the lunch was unhealthy?
-
I quirked my head at the potatoes and bread together, why do they have to go together.
-
Baby carrots make me very happy, it's something I can snap and crunch.
