I do my diary when the night before so that I don't have to think about it that day. But I'm also a creature of habit and tend to make a big meal and eat off of it for a few days at a time.

That's good! Pre logging may help that way you know what you're getting and don't have to remember at the end of the day.

I would like to see studies on that please? I'm not challenging you, I work in mental health and I haven't heard this before.

I'm not hating or asking anyone to carry around a scale. I was referring to ribs like the one the OP has, the ones you make at home.

Why would you do that instead of just trying to accurately calculate what you're eating?

We're back on detoxes again? Your body detoxes naturally, now if you like water flavored that way fine. I have a fruit infuser and I love it but I wouldn't call adding fruit to it making it a detox.

I used to feel guilty earlier in my journey when I thought there was such things as *bad* food and *good* food. It was very psychologically ingrained. Maybe instead of a doctor a counselor would be better? Or a dietitian?

Moderation, eat the things you like while still staying in your calorie goals. I do this and my food drifted towards healthier options on its own. And I don't have to feel guilty for enjoying a piece of cake or a bowl of ice cream.

My doctor listed my obesity as a chronic condition so we talk about it a lot.

You can do it! Our bodies change in so many different ways as we lose weight. My thighs are now half the size they used to be but my calves are still huge. -_- I want them to go down because I want to wear high fitting boots.

I've been having luck on sales racks. It might take a while to search but I've found pants from 5-11 dollars a piece.

I've been there! Especially with the whole pizza and wings episodes, but you know what, you just get right back up and keep trying! This stuff happens but nothing that can't be undone. Stay positive and keep moving forward!

I think you can do it! Why not just start small and work your way up? Like set it to lose .5 or 1lb a week then it might not feel so draining.

I don't know how to make salad dressing but making your own spaghetti sauce is pretty easy, and you can control what goes into it.

Yep, moderation and balance are key. Also you have to be able to enjoy yourself as well.

I've heard monitoring your should monitor your carb intake as well. I have PCOS and so far have been lucky to not have to cut them yet but the time might be coming soon.

That's exactly what you're saying though. Because she talked about how she took in sugar and thought it was okay to have while maintaining and losing weight, you're saying that it's wrong.
