I tried all those too, and what worked for me was Zyban. I also had to completely quit drinking alcohol for the first couple of months. I guess I had a lot of triggers for example - stress, eating, drinking alcohol, that were tied to smoking. So that was the hardest thing to break for me. I wish you the best of luck, and…

BTW.... For those of you that have completed, or are still working on the C25k, does it get much easier? I am repeating week one this week because I still feel pretty winded after my 60 seconds of running. I do really well for the first 2/3 of the 20 minutes, but I am praying for quick ends to the 60 second run segments…

Hello Ladies!!! Had a nice holiday weekend. Ran my first 5k yesterday!! Ugh - it was so HUMID...... but I finished and wasn't the last one. I am using this on my Ipod - can't do the apps cause my Ipod is too old. Anyway this has been a huge help to me. I just started Week 3 Day 1 this morning. Never thought I would have run for 3 minutes - it's crazy that I actually look forward to this!! :smile:

I am 39 will be 40 - next month!! I have lost 20 already and have another 50 to go. Stepmom to 2 boys - 20 and 17. I work in customer service for a pharmaceutical company, will be losing my job the end of this month. Yikes!! Married for 8+ years. I live in Iowa.

Born in July 1970, so 40 is right around the corner. I have struggled with my weight for as far back as I can remember.
