Some good ideas. I like the nuts idea... just had a can of soup (140 calories) and 3 homegrown tomatoes. It helps...I think it's just going to be one of those "empty leg" days.

I'm probably crazy, but I hate wasting egg yolks...the broth with veggies is a good idea. Not a coffee drinker, can't stand grapefruit without adding sugar, my jaw doesn't tolerate gum chewing.... dang, I didn't think I was that picky lol. Might try out the broth though. Any other ideas? Great job :) I'm going to try to "run" my first 5k next month...which will be lots of walking with spurts of jogging I'm sure. Each time you stretch yourself, you do better!

I forgot about ankle weights! I used to have some when I lived overseas...maybe I left them there. I am doing a lot of walking lately (granted, I just started this journey a couple weeks ago...) I know this feeling very well. I think the biggest thing (at least for me) is learning coping skills. Learning to better occupy oneself, how to deal with stress. I'm no expert here, only having lost 2.4 lbs in my week journey since committing ;)

Too poor for that. I've got my 5 pound weights, punching bag, bike, legs to walk, and pilates...not perfect, but free and I don't have to waste gas to get there.

Adding anything to water probably makes it a smidge less healthy unless it's fruit or veggie, but I'm all for MIO myself. If it means I'll drink water vs something unhealthy or just go without hydration, I'm for it.
