  • Amazing job!! You are proof that you can still get a sexy body and a flat stomach even if you are a mom! I'm 25 weeks pregnant with my first and I get so sick of hearing other moms tell me that I will never have a nice body again! go you!
  • As long as it's something I was familiar with doing pre-pregnancy, it shouldn't be a problem. I like to say I'm pregnant, not disabled ;) But anyway I am modifying a lot of the moves. I'm replacing most of the jumping with light jogging in place, and instead of the ab work on your back, I just do planks or abdominal…
  • Hey ladies! I'm just joining this group. I'm 24 weeks along with our first (a girl!), due September 25th. I'm hoping to monitor my calories to stay within a healthy weight range, as well as getting back into a workout routine. I was really active on MFP before I found out I was pregnant back in January. Then I got lazy and…
  • There isn't an option for logging the 30DS, so most just log it under Circuit Training, general. Personally I only log it as 25 minutes but I've seen others who log it as 30 ( I just don't want to count the stretching as a workout!) so I suppose you can time it however you like. Congratulations on your engagement! :)
  • Hey everyone, My name is Clarissa, I'm from NH but currently living in VA with my husband. We just celebrated our second anniversary yesterday and couldn't be happier :) I joined MFP a little over a year ago and loved adapting to my new lifestyle. With Jillian's help and calorie counting I went from about 155 to 135, the…
  • I refuse to measure myself because I'm pregnant... I will probably cry as I had a pre-pregnant waist measurement of 29 inches lol. But I'm about 155 pounds. Not really looking to lose weight of course, just gain back some of the muscle tone that I've lose since being so inactive for months. The shred isn't really great for…
  • I suppose it can't hurt to take days off, I've done the shred twice before this and of course there were days that I skipped. However it's definitely best to do it every day, with one rest day a week. It REALLY helps with the soreness to just push through it every day. Especially the first week, that's when you're going to…
  • I'm glad I found this group! I started this again tonight (6-6-12). I'm actually 24 weeks pregnant and I used to be really active on MFP, and had completed 30DS twice successfully. LOVE IT. I'd gotten great results both times. I've gained 20 pounds since being pregnant though so I decided to get back on here and watch my…
  • I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant with a baby girl, due September 25th. I've gained 20 pounds so far, hoping not to go over 40. I was very active on MFP before becoming pregnant and was about 5 pounds away from my goal weight and in the best shape of my life. So although I'm thrilled to be expecting, I cannot wait to give…
  • Beautiful work ladies! I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant with my first baby; 135 pre-preg, currently 155. I can't wait to add to this thread after I've lost the baby weight! Great motivation!
  • Congratulations Dexter!! So very happy for you! AFM: I'm now on CD 41... I started spotting yesterday, and it's continued throughout today. I have no idea what to think. My temps are all over the place but no sustained high temps which tells me I haven't ovulated... however I was paranoid and so was hubby so I took a prego…
  • Welcome McFrench and McFatterton!! I am now on CD38 and still no ovulation or AF. I'm getting so frustrated and sick of anticipating a high temp every morning. I'm trying to decide whether I should just keep holding out for either or, or if I should just go to my doctor now. I don't want to waste $100 on a fertility…
  • So exciting!!!! Definitely update us!
  • I see. I will definitely be asking my doctor then. I don't want to waste my time taking something that isn't going to do much. And yes, I've already cut out the folic acid supplement since I'm going to start the prenatal. The supplement was 800Mcg and the prenatal contains about the same amount I believe, so I should be…
  • Question for all you ladies: I know prenatal vitamins are super important especially in early pregnancy, so I went ahead and bought some this past week to start getting myself into the habit of taking them. I have been taking Folic acid since july but I wanted to up the ante  I was worried about getting constipated…
  • Congratulations Kah78!! You must be so elated!! So happy for you and good luck!! I'm checking in as it's Monday. I lost a pound last week, bringing me back to 137 atm. Lowest I got was 136 back in July or August, and then I got lazy and started maintaining, then gained a few pounds on vacation. It feels great to be back on…
  • Hey everyone! Just read through all the recent posts, so much information on this board. I am SO glad I found you all, this is just the outlet I've been looking for  AFM: I'm on CD31 (since going off BCP my cycles have been 28-33 days) and still no AF....I haven't ovulated this cycle, but I did ovulate in August and…
  • @ Jalara, That is an ambitious goal, but what's the point of a goal if it doesn't make ya sweat a little? I'd like to lose 10 more pounds by the end of the year which will finally push me into the 120's. I'd love to be a lighter starting weight when I get pregnant, I feel like it will be so much easier to bounce…
  • So after tons of recommendations from people, I finally picked up a copy of "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". Wow!! It is SO helpful and totally worth the $25! There's stuff I never knew, and stuff that I thought I knew but that was explained in much better detail. When I first started charting my BBT, I read several…
  • I keep a mental note of when I notice egg white mucus, but I haven't haven't actually tracked it in my fertility diary. I should probably start doing that. And as far as my cervix position goes, I tried it once and I couldn't feel anything. It was really foreign to me, and kind of comical... I was on the phone with my Mom,…
  • Exactly. If it turns out that it's going to take a long time for us (which I'm praying it doesn't) then I'd rather begin this "journey" much sooner than later.
  • Wow you have been trying for over 2 years! No wonder you are so frustrated, I know I would be too if I was at that point. That's what I'm afraid of too, having the doctor's not take me seriously if it turns out that I can't conceive right now. I think it's our age; we're really young so they see it as we have plenty of…
  • Age: 21 Where you live: Virginia Job: Massage clinic receptionist Length of time on the board: 5 months Marital Status: Married <3 Length of time you've been with SO: 3 years Do you have kids: No Length of time TTC: 4 cycles Diagnosis: No diagnosis yet Do you chart your BBT: Every morning! Do you use OPKs: I did this month…
  • Oh my god... sorry, but diet coke does not count as water,
  • Well i just finished a peanut butter and jelly sandwich soo.....
  • I was on birth control pills for over a year and didn't experience any weight gain.
  • She is disgusting. I'm a bit confused as to why they're referring to her as a "bombshell." And lovely that she isn't working because she's too fat...I wonder how she can afford those mountains of food? Ah yes, MY tax dollars at work. Idiot.
  • I pass out on the floor....
  • THIS. You know they say that 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra. I was wearring a 38 DD and when I got PROFESSIONALLY sized (aka not at Victorias Secret) I found out that I was truly a 36F/G. Now I'm down to a 30H/32 G. Personally, I can't stand not wearing a bra. My breasts are simply too large to be comfortable…
  • EVERY other lady has issues with this. It's just something you've got to deal with. After all, you've been having a period for how many years? :P lol but seriously, if you stick with your diet through your period then you should lose the water weight/bloating along with whatever else you should've been losing.
