  • Any time I feel overworked or stupid busy, I come here and read your thread. You make me feel lazy, good on ya!
  • Did not even notice the last Sunday has passed. Weight as of yesterday was...264. Will weigh again on Sunday to confirm.
  • 264. Shocking, I know. :-\
  • Sounds like you are suffering the same as I did last week. Brutal.
  • Down 5.4 lbs to 258.4. Nothing to do with a successful loss this month. Everything to do with being very ill this week while busting my *kitten* moving all week. But it is a loss and I will accept it as that and be glad. At least being painfully sick had some benefit.
  • I too am confused. I sent a support ticket to MFP but have not heard a response.
  • I have never manually entered any exercise info in MFP. I've used Endomondo and MapMyFitness, they always sync with MFP and enter the workout details for me. Strictly hands off for me. Endomondo entered all values correctly, but it never showed any negative calorie info, or told me I earned anything extra. MMF enters all…
  • I do not enter any exercise in MFP, only MMF. I assume you mean I should stop the sync between the two and manually enter in the exercise values on MFP at days end.
  • I have added up all numbers from MFP exercise and MMF workout logs. Friday, April 21:* - MMF logged 2.7 hours of exercise (6km+ walking, 22km+ cycling) burning 1,734 calories. * - MyFitnessPal Exercise log shows I exercizsed 2 hours 4 minutes buring -1,734 calories. * - UA Calorie Adjustment calories burned = -1,416 * -…
  • Default is to have it off. I am going to compile data from this week and send to MFP support for clarity. See if they can decrypt the data for me.
  • Do you have Negative Calorie Adjustment on? I've check my numbers all week and at no point do the numbers match at all. Was wondering if there was a set formula it uses as these numbers appear totally random to me.
  • I don't input any exercise in MFP. It is all synced through the app's. MFP: Log all intake MMF: Track all exercise Daily calories i need to consume, according to MFP, is 1,760 without exercise. Any exercise I do should increase that 1,760 number based on how much I burn. How much, is the question. From what I understand…
  • Not using a device, just an app on my phone. Using UA MapMyFitness when I exercise. In my diary it if I click on exercise it shows what I burned (1,416). But the food/diary page, tells me I earned 318. What happened to the other 1,100? Or am I totally clueless?
  • Set to sedentary.
  • Yup, a few regular guys in here. We're not the "chatty Cathy" types, but we be here.
  • I love the Victory's, but price wise I am not there. Polaris cancelled production of the Victory lineup a few months back. They are backing Indian 100% now. So Victory will drop steeply in price over the next 1-2 years.
  • Sounds like it has a bunch of little issues leading up to major ones. Bummer. The clunk from N to first and then second is factory standard on those. The shift issue, if I recall, is usually 3-4 not working or it will randomly downshift on you. Had a customer ask us to do it last year. Suggested to take it to the dealer…
  • Custom built forward controls from previous owner. Winter is the best time for engine work. Can't ride em, so fix em. 1500's are known for transmission issues as well. But if you do not have that, then they are solid bikes.
  • I ride a Vulcan 800 myself. Big fan of Vulcans.
  • Weighing/Measuring as much as I can today, and whenever possible for the next couple weeks at least. So far, I see a difference in numbers. Mostly lower than my estimate, but some higher. Enough to be off in a bad way. Consumption: Breakfast guess yesterday: 97 calories Breakfast weighed today: 122 calories Lunch guess…
  • I use Endomondo to track exercise. No HRM but it is free, on my phone and asy to use. I tried MapMyRide years ago, and going to use it for a few walks this week at the same time as Endomondo and compare stats from both. Someone suggested my burn numbers were too high using it and that may be why I am not losing. Not…
  • Monday to Friday I spend 8-10 hours working my butt, finger and eye muscles. Sitting at my desk staring at my computer. But I walk to/from work. 4.3km each way. Weekends, I work in a motorcycle shop. All day either on my feet, on my knees or on my back...sounds like a different kind of shop. Constantly moving, bending,…
  • @d_thomas02 what do you set your MFP settings at using a FitBit? I follow your thread daily and know sedentary is so not you :D
  • I've reset my MFP goals a number of times, though to be honest I have no clue what to set it for. I know my weight, but that's it. Currently set to just under 1,800 calories per day. Sedentary? Lightly active? Opinions vary. Posted my query on MFP forum and, after multiple responses the consensus was try one and see if it…
  • I definitely do see improvement in some aspects of my life. What I see no change in is my weight. I gain and lose some throughout the year, every year, but I seem to be maintaining the same over all weight throughout all the years (15+). So if monitoring my intake has zero effect on my weight, why continue? Tracking what I…
  • March was slack. Most Saturdays I drove to work instead of walked. Plus had a few days off where I did no walking. Did a bit of cycling though, so probably why the distance is a little higher than last month.
  • Not an ounce lost in March. I feel the fool. I weigh what I weighed a year ago. 5 years ago. 15 years ago. This is what I weighed when. I was 23, looked in the mirror and thought this *kitten* ain't right. I've been more. I've been less. But for the majority of my life this is what I have been. Yet my life is not the same.…
  • I choose to skip today's weigh in. Weighed yesterday and it showed a 1 pound gain. That *kitten* ain't right. Not willing to accept the gain, choosing to assume it is "water weight". Going to wait a week, keeping on keeping on, and check again.
