No plans, ride where you feel like it. Sounds ideal to me!

Morning Thanks for all the feedback. I had tried Breathe Rite strips late last year for a couple of weeks. Aside from feeling "unusual", no difference. When I sleep, I sleep. As far as I know I do not wake during the night without reason (kids & criminals). Sleep at least 6 hours a night, sometimes I luck out and get 8. My…

This summers trip will be to Ride Lake Superior from Thunder Bay to Duluth. 3,200 km in 4 days (I don't get much vacation time). Skipping Sturgis for this year, go some other year when it is "slightly" less crowded.

4-7-8 Breathing is interesting. Can't hurt to try it. The bedroom is usually 63-65 on average in winter. Any warmer and I feel uncomfortable. I regularly watch TV or use a computer or phone for an hour or so before bed. Good idea to change that.

I have an app for my phone, used it the last couple of nights and will continue to do so for the next week or two. I don't quite understand the data, yet. And I do not think it is entirely accurate either. I start the app when I go to bed, but I do not often fall asleep right when I hit the sheets. Somedays it takes 30…

I feel ya on the drugs. Drugs are generally a last resort for me. And even then rare. Wont even take prescribed pain meds if i can tolerate it. Was thinking of the herbal kind to see if after one night on it I wake up different. But if sleep apnea is the issue, medication would make sense to be avoided. Had not considered…

My kids have never known a "skinny daddy". Hopefully at some point they will. Witch indeed my man. That's pretty *kitten* of her.

Quiet is good. Tired for sure. Every plan I make, gets lost before it gets real. The new plan is no real plan. Eat less. Do more. Expect nothing. Appreciate everything.

Time flies, life get's in the way of loads of things. Forgot all about this site and this thread. Memory has returned. Wife & I rode roughly 2,100 km during our 2.5 day vacation in North Dakota (got the patch to prove it) and had an absolute blast. Weather was perfect, roads were great. Only "rush" was getting from Regent…

That sounds like a load of fun.

Life is always too busy for me to take any more than a few days here and there, so I take short trips when I can. This summer's motorcycle vacation is 2.5 days next week riding around North Dakota. Around 1,100 miles or so depending on just what we do and where we go. Every time I ride I am always left wanting more.…

Welcome, I am new here as well. Looking to lose about 100 Lbs. Motivation and accountability are huge for me. I get sidetracked/derailed/lost way to easily. Hopefully tracking everything I do and consume will help, and checking/reading/contributing to the forum groups will help with motivation. Just need to keep tracking…
