Jamie here logging in. I'm new to MFP and will be 40 next month. I'm a Army Medic veteran, overweight, with past injuries, & let's just say a lot of kids, LOL. I went to a website about the TDEE thing...can you explain what this actually is? What does TDEE stand for? I've been seeing a lot of posts about it & even after checking one of the calculators out I'm still confused. Is it all about fasting (not eating) a couple days out of the week? I've only been here at MFP for a week…

Okay, just so I understand....weigh in is every Monday? Or every Sunday? I just opened the spreadsheet and logged my weight. If it's not until tomorrow, I can do a weight check-in tomorrow & make the change on the spreadsheet. Maybe I'm just getting super excited about the weight loss.....

I'm 5'2" and weigh 205 lbs. I really lack self-motivation. I'm a procrastinator and could probably think of every excuse to not get out & exercise.
