Hello! I'm Erica. I'm 28. Last year lost almost 50 lbs and got my energy/life back through diet and simple exercise. Took the winter "off" and trying to get back into the swing of things. I entered winter at about 147lbs and I'm at about 152lbs now, so trying to shed those 5 lbs I put back on, plus another 12. Goal weight…

Like others said it helps me be real with myself. As long as I am honest with my logging. I used MFP pretty much every day last year from May to October and lost almost 50lbs. I thought I had gotten the hang of my food consumption and stopped logging. I did well for awhile, but recently the weight has started to come back…

I'm with everyone. Move on, get back on the wagon the rest of the day and make sure you get a work out in -- if nothing else, it will help ease the guilt ;)

<--- Also a terrible human being and I would continue going until I got caught, and even then I would play dumb. However, if they then charged me for anything, I wouldn't argue, I would just pay it. then again, I also hate gyms and refuse to pay to go to one anyway, so I'm biased :)

I spent the majority of my 20's feeling lethargic, but mostly in denial of how big I had gotten. at 27 1/2 I decided enough was enough, and now at 28 1/2 I feel better than I have my entire life, not just my 20's. I also feel like I'm making up for those 7 years I lost feeling terrible. It's never too late -- good luck…

CONGRATS!!!! I'm in the process of trying to actually locate those boxes for myself... I probably hid them away so I would never find them!!!

i take my 2 1/2 year old on jog/walk in the stroller every day.. we end it by feeding the ducks at the park so he gets to run around and has something to look forward to as well... then when he goes to bed i'll do any weight training i want to do for the day.

My motivation is almost 100% vanity at this point. I hadn't been told I "needed" to lose weight for any health reason, but I'm not an idiot and know that I wasn't happy and I felt lazy all the time. I still got plenty of attention 30+ lbs ago, but now the added attention & compliments help to fuel me when I want to slack.…

I'm open, feel free to add away people!

I felt thinner when my pants started falling off of me and my thighs no longer filled them out either. For the first time ever in my life I feel fairly comfortable wearing a 2 piece bathing suit & I'm getting constant "wow! you look amazing... or you're so skinny!" compliments. Though when I look in the mirror, I too,…

I find myself being very critical of other people's eating habits as well...and much more aware of just how overweight (and quite frankly, obese) MANY people are. I was at Disney World last week and I was floored at the sheer size of so many of the families there. I never thought too much about it before. I think it's more…

HA. I love the truth in this! I would be lying if I didn't say part of my motivation is to make anyone I've ever been with kick themselves just a little. :) ...and boost my husband's ego a little :)
