I wear a HRM too when I do Insanity. I am currently in the middle of month 2 and some workouts are more intense than others. Just on average I burn anywhere from 400 to 600 calories a workout. I'm 5'5 and 202lbs. It's a great workout, but the lbs to come off slower but teh inches can just fly off of you!

Yes, buy your own.... it doesn't have to be a crazy expensive one but a quality one that will give you an accurate weight (within a lb or so). That's exactly what I would do, but I'm a smartass.... you are doing great.... Weight is weight! My 1st week of my life style change I lost 5lbs and I got so many compliment and all I did was cut out yucky sodium.

I finally invested in a HRM and I'm in love with it, I burn almost triple the amount of calories I thought I was burning.... because I keep wearing it long after my workout, it shows how much I keep burning (because I think we all forget that we burn calories all throughout the day) I love mine, go get yourself one :)

Protein is whats helping me stay full and satisfied through the day, I ALWAYS go over it and I'm loosing weight, plus it's helping me build muscle.... win win :)
