300-450 is ideal for me.

I normally put them in at 180•C for 5-6 minutes.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Straight Up I was surprised by the sheer amount of chocolate pieces in this, the bar tasted and looked very chocolaty, but not weird or fake which was nice. This seemed a little drier than other bars. Microwaved This was great microwaved. It tasted and smelled exactly like warmed up CC cookie…

More flavours! Coconut Cashew Straight up This was pretty nice straight out of the pack, the texture seemed softer than a few of the other bars and it didn't have any of that weird protein powder flavour. It had a mild coconut taste, but I didn't sense any of the cashew Microwaved The bar was tasty microwaved, I feel like…

Provided that you don't need any specialist gear, just type 'gym wear' into ebay. I've gotten leggings, tanks, shorts, sports crops etc for less than $10 AUD per item.

I think with something like Chinese, that doesn't have a very large variety of healthy/low calorie options, a better option is to just pick what you would like to have (within reason) and opt for a smaller portion. Perhaps have something filling and low calorie a few hours beforehand and then opt for a half portion?

I'm kind of over the perception that low carb has to be a "lifestyle" for everyone that does it. I eat low carb (70g or less) the majority of the time, but if I have the ocassional day where I just want to eat bread and rice and sugar, I do. I choose to eat low carb as my standard diet because it means I get adequate…

I also have to question what you find questionable in these bars.

Vegemite and cheese sandwiches Green apples + soft cheese + black pepper + honey Peanut butter with sweet chilli sauce on crumpets Twisties on white bread rolls Original Pringles + milk chocolate

I think you shouldn't work out in front of your dog or your cat because they will just be like wtf are you doing?
-
Maybe you could have a few more green vegetables and a larger variety of fats in your diet? It looks pretty ok to me otherwise

If I add baby spinach to anything it automatically becomes a healthy salad.

Do they just let anyone be a dietician now?

I've not seen pure protein where I live, they seem to be well liked on MFP though.
-
Eh, I would argue that 20g of enjoyable protein at just over $2 is fairly good value.
-
They aren't that expensive. $26 for a box of 12 on iHerb. That's just over $2 a bar, which is a little below the average price of any bar here in Aus.

Ohhh, yum
-
Is that for the US only?
-
I keep hearing good things about apple pie. Can't wait to try it
-
I think it may be my favourite so far.

I have the CCCD coming in the mail, I couldn't find it here. I'm pretty excited about it. Ohh new flavour? Awesome. I want it to be chocolate pretzel flavoured.

Eh, I can eat a ton of food when I want to. I could knock out a 3000+ calorie day without a problem, so I'm not just a light eater But I feel totally fine on 1200 and I never go hungry. I think it comes down to being economical with your calories. Fewer carbohydrates and more protein and fat generally leaves me sated. Not…

I never did until I started eating Quest bars.

I grew up flying on QANTAS and Singapore Airlines, both which have quite nice food. I never understood these jokes until I went to the US and flew United.

I get this. Our toilet at home is never awful enough to be a real problem. It's not much different from cleaning a sink. A public toilet in McDonald's or something though...

You mean I can't rely on the Daily Mail for well informed, high integrity journalism? :open_mouth: But in all seriousness, good point.

Exactly this. Obesity is on the rise because people eat too much and move too little, and at the end of the day the decision to do that is made by you. It's very easy to make a villain out of the convenience food providers and producers, but at the end of the day you are the one making yourself fat. Not them.

Eh, too much of anything will make you feel crappy. I know I generally feel great after a small slice of cheesecake or some hot chips.

I'm not single but my partner and I have differing work schedules that leads to me cooking just for myself a lot. Omelettes are my saving grace. Low cal, high protein, easy to customise for variety, you can make it fresh with minimal time/fuss/clean up and it's easy to make a single serving. Just have a bunch of fixins on…

I can be pretty moderate with just about anything, although I try to stick to mostly good fats, protein and veg. However, I can not have this in the house, or within a 10km radius of my person
