I'll second Skinnytaste for their recipes. Thanks for the new ideas!

Congrats!! It's these sorts of victories which add up to a lifestyle change. Keep up the good work. :flowerforyou:

Feel free to add me. I too have had the same problem with responses from others on MFP, but have (inconsistently) kept at it. Welcome back! :flowerforyou:

Bump. You are so amazing and inspirational! Keep up the good work :flowerforyou:

I broil tilapia for several minutes according to the bag (buy mine frozen in bulk) with McCormick seasoning with mango & lime. Just love that seasoning. Here's the link: http://www.weberseasonings.com/product-detail?id=7&sel=shake Usually steam some veggies and have brown rice or couscous. Thanks for the topic. Will pick…

You look great. I'm inspired to give free weights a try. Hubbie's got a bench, barbell and weights so may give it a try. Maybe that will get him lifting too. Thanks for the pictures and the motivation to try!

I've tried the class (about a year ago) and last night tried doing it with the DVD and felt so uncoordinated. Part of me would like to give up on it and go back to regular gym exercise but it seems like so much fun and I love the music. Have you had a chance to try it some more? Did it help?

Good job! Keep up the great work and it'll pay off for you in so many ways. :flowerforyou:

Hi! I'm 45 and have approx. 50 lbs. to lose. I lost 50 lbs. about 2 years ago, but have since gotten remarried, had surgery and some of the weight has crept back on. I struggle with being consistent with my eating and working out and have struggled to get back on the wagon seriously. Would appreciate having another MFP…

I use one of the Cardio Coach mp3s. It's interval training and feels like the trainer is right there pushing you to do your best. There is a slight charge to download (or was when I downloaded my copy a few years ago). Best of luck~!

This sums my opinion up well. It needs to be something that will realistically work for each person. Drinking plain water is the ultimate goal, but might need to do so a little at a time until you like it by itself. Especially if you're used to drinking flavored everything (which I was)... Progress-not perfection I say.

I like a lot of what has already been listed. I would add to that CeCe Winans, Anthony Evans, Barlow Girl, Superchik and Mandisa. I like a lot of Christian music but really like a good beat to work out to personally.

Mani or pedi or both, new workout tunes on my iPod, etc. Not food for me. When I was losing weight a couple of years ago (~50 lbs.), I liked going to Goodwill/used clothing stores and buying clothes there since I could afford to buy "in-between" clothing and it was fun to see the sizes get smaller!! It worked well for me...

Great job! Congrats on such a wonderful milestone! :flowerforyou:

Great post! I've found that consistency is the key for a change for life, not just to get to a certain weight, size, etc. Trying to be moderate with eating and fitness is crucial for me. Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration.

I too struggle with this a lot! One suggestion I heard before was to go to sleep earlier, thus relieving the amont of time to deal with the craving. In my experience, I wake up hungry which isn't great either. The way I end up handling this is to eat something light, i.e. light popcorn or mini rice cakes (my fav is…

I did it several months ago when I was too busy to go to the gym and I like the convenience of doing it at home for just shy of 30 min. per workout. It does provide results and after the first few days on a level, I wasn't too sore, but would still break a healthy sweat and feel the burn. I esp. like the workouts because…

I was hoping to see the scale go flying too!! lol Great results-very inspiring.

Congrats on the loss and reaching your goal. Way to hang in there and reach for those extra pounds! :D

I weight in weekly, on Friday morning-sans most clothing. Every little bit helps! The weekend is usually when I tend to splurge and I have a chance during the week to do better. Last chance workout tonight! :)

Everyone looks great! Sure needed this motivation to stay on track. The vending machine was calling me...I'll be saying "no" today. :)

I'd like to join in too. I usually weigh in on Fridays so this will be extra accountability and motivation. Last weeks was 178 lbs. and today 175. Wahoo!!
