SW: 174 CW: 171.8 CGW: 162 (1 lb/week) Overall GW: 130 Down a little from last week, although took yesterday as an additional rest day, which probably didn't help. Hope to get to the gym today and get a good workout in. Make today a healthy one!

Jumping jacks in the parking garage this morning... ;)

Didn't see the "no processed sugar" for today's side challenge until it was too late. Will strive to do that better next week. Also, work's been crazy so I didn't get the extra kilometer in yesterday either. But I did work out last night so I've got 2 of my 4 goal workouts done for this week. Nailed the weekly steps…

Hello everyone! Hope you're having a great day. Week 1 weigh in went well. Down 1.8 lb. from last week. 1 of 4 workouts for weekly goal completed and duffel packed for another one today. Stephanie (a.k.a. "dujyandco"), great looking food pics. Makes me want to eat healthier. I ate protein shakes back in the summer,…

SW: 174 CW: 172.4 CGW: 162 (1 lb/week) Overall GW: 130 Down almost 2 lbs. Wahoo!! Although my weight can swing quite a bit. Hope this is a downward pattern and not a fluke. I'm going to keep at it. Eating healthy and getting exercise is a good idea even if the scale doesn't always show it. Make today a healthy one!

SW: 174 CW: 174 CGW: 162 (1 lb/week) Overall GW: 130 Skipped a few weigh ins. So... I'm getting back on track now. I'm back at my starting weight currently. Worked out yesterday and signed up for another challenge. Hope to kickstart 2016 off right. I'm seeing some of you make real progress in the thread. Congrats! Losing…

Just weighed in. Done!

I'm in. Haven't done anything like this before... Hoping the camaraderie is fun and accountability is the jumpstart I need.

SW: 174 CW: 172.6 CGW: 162 (1 lb/week) Overall GW: 130 Week two check in. I did work out a couple days which is an improvement. Haven't logged much for the past several days and doing some holiday baking, which leads to some "tasting". Not making much progress, but I realize it's my own fault. :( Today is a new day. Make…

SW: 174 CW: 173.2 CGW: 162 (1 lb/week) Overall GW: 130 Week one check in. Nothing major to report. I did work out a couple days which is an improvement. And I logged my food/exercise for more days, even through a couple weren't very pretty. I didn't want to be a downer for my hubby who was celebrating a birthday so I…

I'm in. I try and then don't stick with it and then repeat endlessly. Grrr. Hope to make a real, life-long change. Maybe, hopefully, this is THE time. Would love to have more friends on MFP for accountability and camaraderie. CW: 174 GW: 130

Thanks for your post. It is encouraging for me as I continue to struggle with consistency. I'll do good for a while and then something will happen (travel, bad weekend, stress, etc.) and I will change my habits (mostly in exercise) and it's so discouraging. Keep up the good work!!

Congrats! Way to go! You don't look crazy - you look happy, confident... ;)

I think it's sweet that you were empathetic and wanted to be encouraging. When I first started my journey, I was also poor so I worked out in a gym (complimentary) at my corporate headquarters. That was really intimidating. In addition to baggy pants & t-shirt, I wore a ball cap, partially to catch the extra sweat but…

Ditto! It'd be great to have some active friends to interact/inspire/support. Feel free to add me as well. :)

Thanks for sharing. I just started day 1 of the Shred last night. Sure feeling it today! I've started it before but haven't stuck with it. This inspires me to keep going. Congrats!

Completely agree with this post. Love the graphic and quote of "At any given moment you have the power to say: this is not how the story is going to end". So inspirational!! :flowerforyou:
