Thanks!! I used losing weight as a way to keep busy. Gym 3-5 times a week, weigh ins every Monday, ect. It helped keep me sane at the same time it got me healthy. :)

I am 5'2 and maintaining but I played with it to see what it was doing, and switching to .5lb loss said I needed to eat 900 calories. Yeah. No. Op eat more. Mfp is not right.

Restricting yourself completely usually doesn't end well for most people. It doesn't work for me and that's why in the past I always failed. Just log it and move on. Please don't label food bad or feel the way you do because you ate something "unhealthy".

There's nothing wrong with eating the things you love. There is no such thing as a bad food. It's ok. :) I lost 50lbs and reached goal just fine by doing my fair share of eating chocolate.

I think you're on a road you don't want to be heading down. Eat more and look up body recomp. To build muscle you'll need to eat more.

For me the last 10 was harder because it was already a healthy weight, just the high end. When you're already at a healthy weight, your calorie deficit is reduced in such a way that the amount between deficit and maintenance is a real fine line. Reducing my goal 10 more would have put me on the lower end of healthy and…

This. It took me almost 3 months to lose the last 5lbs. You have less room for error at this point so it's important to make sure you're logging as accurately as you can.

It takes awhile. I didn't drop a size until I lost over 20lbs. It was closer to 25lbs. The second 25lbs though I blew through sizes quick. Total weight lost for me is 50lbs and I went from a 16 to a now 4-7.

It's probably a mental thing. You can eat more than 1600 calories or you wouldn't be here trying to lose weight. 7 months ago, that was me. Mentally couldn't do it but then once I snapped out of it, I realized I could eat that and probably more (and did) and still lost. If you truly feel you can't eat it; you may be…

I eat cheeseburgers. If I'm at a fast food place, I get it without fries or sometimes without cheese. I have lost 50lbs eating the same things I always ate; just less of it.

I went from a xlarge to a medium shirt within 25lbs. I only went from a loose 14 to a tight 10 in 25lbs. The next 25lbs though, I went from a medium top to a small, and from a tight 10 to a very loose 4/tighter 2.

I'm 5'2 and maintaining between 119-125. It fluctuates.

I gain starting around the time of ovulation until the a few days into my cycle. Then it wooshes and goes away. It's just a lovely part of being a lady. Lol

It happens. If you weigh daily, you can't fret the normal, daily swings. You could have more water, waste, ect. You would have had to eat 3500 over your tdee to gain a pound of fat.

Being able to wear these type of dresses, without my rolls showing!
-
It took me almost 8 months.

I'm 5'2. I started at 171 with a goal weight of 135. I hit tht and lowered it to 125. I hit that and lowered it again to 120. I hit that and am at peace with myself. Good luck to you all! You can do it!!

Weights. Eat at maintenance and lift but you're probably going to gain weight on the scale, but look better in your clothes.
-
Yep. I even walk around the living room when watching tv.

I found mine by looking at what happens on non exercise days. If it adds calories to mfp, then I'm not sedentary. I found that I'm not even lightly active. I keep myself at sedentary but I always get 400-600 calories added to it..exercise days or not.
-
As others have said; eat less. It's all about the calories. And don't have a goal of losing 4-5 pant sizes. Your body does what it wants, ultimately. You may find you can only drop 2-3, depending on what your current size is.

Sorry, I don't share my chocolates.
-
I just had 8 pieces of pot of gold caramel chocolate because I still had 500 exercise calories. Score! You don't have to give anything up. Just work them in. If you can only afford to eat 1, then eat 1.

At 115lbs and 5'5, your bmi is 19.1. You are on the lower end of healthy. Raise your calorie intake and switch to lifting/body weight. You don't really need to lose anymore weight.

I hate the term skinny fat too. I thought I was the only one.
-
Do you have any apps connected to your mfp? If so, you have negative calories enabled.

I log everything. I cannot not log. I tried and failed. I have to hold myself accountable, and logging does that. If I don't, I forget snacks, or sides and my guesswork is way off. I am in maintenance now and will be a logger for life. Some people don't have to log and are great it, others have to. I don't call my days I…

I have lost almost 50lbs and am in maintenance. For me. 1. I drink water. Wait 10 minutes. Sometimes hunger pains are just thirsty cries. 2. If I really am hungry, I stick with low calorie snacks, cheese sticks, hard boiled eggs, veggies, nuts. Things that don't take much to produce a full feeling, but still satisfy me. 3.…

I log coffee but i don't really care about the 2-4 calories. Although my kcup scanned as 0 calories today. Woohoo. Lol
