  • I cba debating with you, but there are some actual studies on the benefits of grapefruit. Not really what the op is claiming though.
  • err why not be normal and stop looking for quick fixes, eat less move more and lose.
  • This +1, saved me the effort of having to type it. OP you are all over the place, so its no surprise that youve swing from one thing to the other and none of them have worked. Its about you and your approach. If you calorie count properly then you will lose weight over time. You need to absorb the simple basic concepts and…
  • Everyone has doen it by eating less than they burn, you just have to find your own way to do that in a way whih is sustainable. 1lb a week is fine. More or less what rabbit said.
  • If you dont wnat to give up then how about not giving up? how about learning about what it is you are trying to do and then doing it effectively? <amahe your expectaions so they are realistic.
  • How would you know when you arent provided with the duration or intensity? 30 calories really?
  • On the 1200 number i didnt realise the MFP warning for men flashes up at 1500
  • You need to get the spam ratio up.
  • Movement burns calories, log it if you feel its a significant amount. Search the database for soemthing similar or make a custom entry. You could google am estimation but be wary of overestimating.
  • Then look at yourself and think about why you wnat to lose weight? Do you know? is it importnat to you? Why? What are the advantages? What are the drawbacks of your present position? Do it dont to it, its up to you.
  • I was asking the OP actually because I was gauging her understanding of what she thinks she is doing and why she feels the need to use green tea. Thanks for the help though. Do you get migraines? Do you know how painful and debilitating they are?
  • Think you are confused. If the green tea is causing you to have a migraine then why drink it?
  • Its self selecting though, there are millions of users and so obviously different people like different things. There are other factors other than size about why you might find someone attractive, but all things being equal then fit and healthy is always going to be more attractive.
  • OP whats your point/ views about the article? Why did you post it and what are you trying to tell us?
  • Why not make some of the lower calorie versions?
  • The change is obvious, its you. Theres been a spate of these self doubting threads lately. Why do you need to see the change, can you just accept the fact its happening the scale tell you that you weigh less for a fact as will your clothes show you need smaller sizes. Go with that, eventually the changes will be undeniable…
  • MFP is abut sustainable lifestyle changes If you cant do 5:2 which isnt for everyone then why nopt just do consistent calorific deficist supported with some exercise? The first part of dieting is to learn what it is you need to do and formulate a plan that will work for you, which measn you cna sustain it.
  • Yes because its a good tool. I have mentioned it to a few people down the gym but they soemtimes think you are trying to sell them something.
  • Eating 1000 calories which is way too low, but then you drop in it doesnt include exercise calories, which make a difference. Open your diary and id still start on the basis you are eating more than you think. You should be eating more on a nutrution basis and still losing, but theres insufficient and confusing information.
  • Commit and focus on what you have to do. If you do that then what others do is not important. Understand what you are doing and why Understand how weight loss works. Formulate a good plan Stick to plan consistently and get results. Rinse and repeat. None of that involves the input or effort of anyone except you.
  • err have one or two then but fit them into your calorie allowance. Eat in moderation, if you need extra then go and exercise.
  • I was in my gym recently and the trainers were advertising weight loss claiming it was 12lbs of pure fat...... All trainers are not = and some of them just speak rubbish. If you arent losing then its most likely you need to tighten your logging. Care to open your diary? Are you weighing your food?
  • Not unless you are under medical supervision. You are 22 and have 56lbs to lose according to your ticker, which indicates you have plenty to lose and theres a high % chance you dont really know what you are doing. You werent eating less than 1200 to put on the weight in the first place. Why not try safe sustainable and…
  • its straighfoward in theory. Avoid the mistakes new dieters commonly make. Understand how weight loss works its all about consistent deficit. Get the right mindset and commit, then you stand a better chance. Leanr patience and give yourself time. be flexible and pace yourself. start with…
  • Its a very importnat moment you identify. I try and avoid skirting on my calorie limits, but im a bit philosophical about when I get there I try and stay within , but its not a big deal if I dont as I will probably have done enough exercise to save me, even then if you go over ill make it up the next day. Noy importnat…
  • Youve left it to the last minute. You dont know enough about weight loss to realise what you are proposing it's unlikely to happen. id think 7-10lbs would be more realistic, notwithstanding what toad said about the cut off point being the fitting. Why do this to yourself? You were happy before. id know what to do if it…
  • Yes because its important for your body to operate efficiently and let it repair.
  • How about listening to your body. Fuel and hydrate properly. take proper rest. You could be overtraining or you could be ill. It might just be doms. Look after yourself or you will get into bigger trouble.
  • I think you exercise for a number of reasons with the calorie burns just being one. It does make it more sustainable for some people by giving you extra flexibility in your calorie allowance. Some people it just makes hungrier so they have to eat back, but others it does not, so they dont have to eat them all back. The one…
  • Whats the point in crying, get smart follow the good advice and deal with it. Take responsibility for it yourself instead of expecting others to sort it out for you. I now realise what this was about. The information I sent was how you cna control it, minimise the effects and in some cases if you do it properly then you…
