You should be more scared of dying. Honestly. Go get your mom. Now. xoxo. and good luck.

Oh man, these are all good suggestions. I will *probably* end up eating the whole wheat toast with PB. That's a great idea. Ice cream is also a good suggestion, and I almost never get to eat (gah) a really yummy flavor with bits and swirls. I don't know ... with 300 whole entire calories left ... I was hoping for some…

My kids play 'Slug-Bug' and 'Tweeter' so frequently that I find myself calling it out and punching the air even when I am in the car alone.

You have to connect to the internet to download the app. You also have to put the music on your phone somehow. Personally, I use isyncr wifi, and I sync my music over my home wifi network. But during the workout, you do not have to be connected to the internet. It asks me if I would like the GPS on or off. I usually keep…

I use Cardio Trainer Pro on my android phone. I can play my music, and then it beeps through to let me know it's time to switch it up. There are a TON of apps for iphone/ipod, android, windows, blackberry. Just search 'interval timer'.

I added back 300 calories a day when I was at a stall, and the weight started coming off again. I also FELT better, physically. If 300 a day seems too high, try 250 a day and see how it goes. Are you doing strength training?

I think a forum like this needs all types - the ones who will NOT sugarcoat, who will give it straight and dirty, like it or not. And it ALSO needs the ones who will couch advice in much friendlier tones. Because there are all types who read these forums. ALL types. And the exact post that is going to infuriate someone may…

Pretty much all of them. But, if you're new to hummus, the 'original' in a lot of the brands is quite good. red pepper is yummy as well.

Just to be clear, I don't question your effort or dedication AT ALL. Anyone who can burn anywhere NEAR 2000 calories a day, AND eat 800 calories a day is seriously dedicated, and giving 100% effort. That is awesome. Is it clear now that the 1700 calories per day gives you a 2 lb a week weight loss, even with NO exercise?…

In your 'afters', you look like the cat who caught the canary. Awesome results - really, really inspiring!

Your diary says that you got 2500+ calories from exercise. I would LOVE to know what you are doing! I would love calorie burns like that!!!! Right now, at my pace, I would have to work out at FULL intensity for 4 hours to get a burn like that.

hummus with about anything. carrots, green beans, pita (watch the sodium), cucumber, cherry tomatoes. also, fitness with natalie has a great snack list on her blog: http://fitnesswithnatalie.blogspot.com/2011/05/snack-time.html Good luck!

It works, I lost 35 lbs. BUT ... I felt that I was always trying to 'game' my points - eating crappy, processed 'diet' foods instead of making healthy choices, so I could eat more. So when we moved across country, I had really bad habits, and really bad sugar cravings, and the changes did not last. I am much happier with…

My favorite smoothie is made with 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt, 1 T peanut butter, 1/4 c milk and half of a banana, and some ice. It is around 200 calories, but it is SOOOO filling. I also make a version with either dark chocolate cocoa powder and banana, or dark chocolate cocoa powder and peanut butter. YUM. Good luck!

There's a girl here that did an experiment on herself. She did a lot of research and found that (and for her this was true), when she ovulated, her metabolism was revved up. It slowed down again during TOM. You should use google to try to search the MFP boards, it was a really interesting topic. Anyhow, she found that if…

You might find, as you go along, that when you get to those 'rewears' and 'benchmarks', they will be sufficient enough reward. That said, here are a couple of other suggestions. Since money is tight, a pedicure might be out of the question. BUT, you could go to SEPHORA and buy a REALLY NICE bottle of polish - maybe…

It's one thing to offer an opinion about the way they look. It's another thing entirely to offer your opinion about WHY women wear them, when you, yourself have never done so. That's jacka$$ territory you're skirting. So take me up on it! Wear a pair for a day to a special occassion. Then come back and reply whether or not…

I actually combine dance and some higher energy moves into a HIIT workout. I dance for 3 minutes to my favorite songs, then I do jumping jacks, or high knees, or butt kicks, or jogging in place, or burpees, or whatever highest intensity thing I can think of for 2 minutes. It's a ton of fun. I crank up my phone as high as…

Who would like to see ninerbuff wear a pair of Spanx to his next big event ... under a tuxedo maybe ... in August ... in the tropics ... AFTER giving birth ... with the caveat that he must disrobe to urinate. hahahahahaha.

The real question is whether or not you're going to eat the calories back, dear Bear. Because that could be a lot of *&^%ing berries.

Mine are Thing One and Thing Two. Otherwise known as 'One' and 'Oops'.

Omgosh, I have NO advice, but I wish I could go back one minute in time and not read this post ... this sounds AWFUL. That's it. I'm never running again. Not even to the bus stop. Good luck with your toenail.

OMGOSH!!! I was just about to post this link. This list has saved me, and I really think differently as I plan my snacks. I threw 1/4 cup of oats into my smoothie today, because I thought, oh, fitnesswithnatalie says I need complex carbs. I hope you see this fitnesswithnatalie. *starstruck*

jessica alba ... jessica alba ... jessica alba what can I say? she's got the most amaaaaazing body. haha. not as motivational as yours. I think I like yours better, now that I think about it. Thanks for sharing!

My Drymax socks make a HUGE difference. Before I had them, I thought socks were just socks.

Whenever I have this dilemma, I usually log half the time I spent. Like right now, I am painting my daughters' room. It's a lot of squats, up, down, up, down. I can really work up a sweat. My daily activity is set at sedentary. So, to be on the safe side, I might log four hours of painting as 2 hours of 'cleaning - light,…

I'm REALLY afraid this is going to happen to me. When I was young, I always prided myself on my hourglass - it's a very forgiving shape, and clothes tend to look great, no matter what you put on. After having kids, though, the girls don't have the same umph. I might find myself cycling through ALL of the body shapes to get…

That body shape is: Lucky. Haha.

Well ... when you were at your 'fittest' where was your trouble zone? hips/tush - pear tummy - apple nowhere - I carry my weight well - hourglass That's clearly not scientific. But maybe it will help. Edited to add: when I am more fit, I am definitely an hourglass, btw. But I've added quite a bit of belly fat, which gave…
