Today my 10 mile run was because I CAN run that far and not because I HAVE to in order to avoid fatness.

I used to get terrible ones when I ran cross country in high school. Extending your arms above your head and taking a few, deep controlled breaths is how my coach taught me to alleviate them. Do you get the hiccups a lot? I always did as a kid and that is also a diaphragm spasm. I always thought it could be related.

I liked the Danskin stuff from Walmart. Champion bras from Target (doubled up when I needed it). Men's section too!

@lizzieloo934 I wouldn't say the training necessarily makes losing more difficult but rather that is a function of being so close to a normal weight for my height. It is difficult to readjust my thinking that I should be losing multiple pounds per week at this point. I have worked very hard and been very compliant...but I…

I usually just mix a half scoop of peanut butter cookie protein powder in with some almond milk. ...but a couple of weeks ago I rendered down some bacon lardons, drained the bacon through some coffee filters and wiped out the pan. Tossed in some pecan pieces with a teaspoon of the filtered bacon fat until they were a bit…

Week 2 (10-16 July) Check-in 1. I made some questionable choices (because braised pork cheeks are amazing! ) but no overeating. 2. Ran 36 miles. My run time this morning was a personal best - 10 miles in 98 minutes. I also managed 2 hours on the elliptical while traveling. 3. I didn't manage the yoga class I was…

That might be the nicest thing anyone has said to me in forever!

10 miles in 98 minutes! I average around 101-102 and have only managed 98 one other time.

I'm afraid to even ask what that is...

285 to 147. 5'4" I've still got plenty of thunder in my thighs...it's just solid thunder instead of wobbly thunder!
-
I'm 5'4" and currently about 147. Starting weight was 285. I haven't really formulated a final weight goal; since hitting 150 I shifted my focus primarily to meeting new fitness milestones.

It is common with all bananas. Unless you're picking them yourself nearly every single banana sold in the world is picked green/underripe.

My favorites are Syntrax Matrix Peanut Butter Cookie, Mint Cookie and Syntrax Nectar Fuzzy Navel. Almost all powders are too sweet for me as is so I add cocoa powder or powdered peanut butter to cut the sweet without diluting the flavor. Syntrax Matrix Perfect Chocolate is good for making iced coffee beverages.

I'm a big fan of Syntrax Matrix in Peanut Butter Cookie and Mint Cookie. I like the Perfect Chocolate to make iced coffee drinks and cookies.

Week 1 (3-9 July) Check-In 1. Munchies managed. 2. Trip cancelled! Logged a bit over 30 miles. 3. Strength training done! I also had a rest day which was definitely needed. Week 2 starting off strong with 10 miles logged this morning. I'll probably be able to get in a Power Yoga class or two on my trip this week.

A "green" egg on sprouted bread toast with a schmear of cream cheese...an over easy egg cooked in a nest of finely cut baby kale.

Sour things always helped my nausea. I would suck on a piece of lime or a sour candy to calm things down enough to eat. ...and smoothies. I drank a lot of smoothies!
