Indian food is delicious and MOST of the actual FOOD is healthy. What gets me in trouble at the Indian for me is Chai tea. Lots of sugar and (if made right) lots of milk. Milk and alcohol. I could literally drink a gallon and a half of milk a week by myself without trying. I just love the stuff. So instead of eating food I was drinking obscene amounts of milk not realizing the calories in it.

To set a good example for my kids. kids with chunky parents tend to have a harder time staying fit than those whose parents set a good example. So I want to get the weight off before we have kids so I can lead by example with healthy eating habits. I don't want my kids to ever know the weight struggles I have.

I weigh myself every 7 days. Just once. Whatever the scale says that is my weight for the week. I wouldn't worry about fluctuations through out the day. Like every one is saying, that is perfectly normal. Obsessing won't change it. I'd focus that energy elsewhere. These things unfortunately take time.
