I agree with those that say exercise first. Earn those fried food calories and then you won't feel guilty about it, but don't go crazy and over eat. You can have fun and not over indulge, or you can go crazy and get back on track tomorrow. I personally just wouldn't go because I know I would go crazy, I love fried stuff!

I've lost 5 1/2 inches off my waist since starting to use MFP diligently this year. I'm doing lots of cardio and group fitness classes and tracking my food, that's it. I shoot to get at least an hour of exercise each day, even if it's just doing yard work or cranking up the radio and cleaning the house for an hour.

It's really going to depend on your waist size, not your height and weight. I carry all my weight in my tummy, so at 5'8 and 172 I'm still in a size 14.

Do something tougher than Zumba maybe. I do Zumba 2-3 times a week, but also do the Body Attack classes once a week and those offer a hard core burn/cardio. Zumba to me is a fun class and doesn't make me want to die when im done like some of the harder group classes.

Yes, but I've encouraged a dozen of my friends to join MyFitnessPal, and a couple to join the gym by constantly blogging and posting on Facebook about what I'm doing. Most of them have already lost more weight than I have! It also gives me encouragement when they cheer me on.

The game is great if you can't get to a gym. Its also a great way to learn the moves as the game can break down moves for you and gives you points based on if youre moving your body right. I found the game more challenging than the classes lol. I hit Zumba classes 2-3 times a week and love it! Dance Central is insanely fun…

I love the Jimmy Dean frozen breakfast sandwiches they have that are healthier than the regular ones. They cook perfectly!

I did a weight class today and was bursting with energy after so I did some cardio too. I dont know what the right thing is, but that felt right to me. Any time I try to do weights after my cardio, I find Im too tired from the cardio.

Where does everyone measure their waist? I do mine around my belly button and mine is huge. Waist: 39 Hips: 43 I'm 5'8 and 175

I'm going to the gym today for the 6th day in a row :). I'm going out of town for the weekend and that will be my rest time.

I almost sprained my ankle today by taking a wrong step in Zumba lol. I find the more I go, the better I get and even if you can't do all the moves, it's really fun to go shake it to the music. I'm finding myself dancing around the house when I do chores now. Try it!

I got shoes that were bigger and it is a little better. I find that it doesn't happen at all on the Precor brand machine. The one that doesn't have handles, just all leg movement. On a regular elliptical my feet get so numb I can't stand to use it.
