I was you a year ago!! Congrats on your wedding and for making the choice to get healthy. I promise it will be more than worth it if you stick to it and don't give up. You will look and feel beautiful!

You are not alone! I fell off too and gained (according to the scale) 10 pounds! I said last Sunday was D-day and started fresh on Monday. Since then I have lost 5 of those 10 pounds and I'm sure I will lose a few more. Don't be too hard on yourself and just pick up where you left off. I'm sure the damage you think you…

I didn't believe it, until it happened to me! I had plans to go to a club for a friends birthday and changed them last minute so we ended up in a totally different place. I didn't want to leave the table to use the restroom, but did, and on the way back I tripped and fell into my now husband. He caught me, held out his…

Great question, but too funny!!

I'm sorry to hear about your husbands job, and hopefully fellow MFPers can help out in this area. I don't have a lot of tips, but have you tried the frozen fish? Or a fresh fish from a bulk store that can be frozen? We have gotten fresh salmon from Costco for around $28 and were able to make about 10 portions out of it.

I'm the same way! My husband is famous for saying, "OK, we need to feed you!" I don't have any snacks to add since the ones I would recommend are already listed, but know that you are not alone.

Thanks everyone! I feel much better now. I have seen 3 of the 8 pounds I went up go down, so hopefully the number keeps dropping as the week goes on. I'm all for new friends, just not the kind that like to hang on to my belly ;)

I use Motion Traxx while at the gym. You could use it anywhere you need great music while working out. I LOVE it! It has a lot of different mixes set to different BPMs to keep you moving.

Good question! I would love to know the answer to that one too.

Congratulations on all of your hard work paying off in a big way! You look amazing!!! I wish I could accomplish what you have in such a short period of time.

This is great! Thank you all!!

HI everyone! I'm Natalie, 31, just married in August. My current weight is 158 and I would like to loose another 20-25 by summer. My goals this month are 1. Not to gain over the next 2 weeks. 2. Go to the gym at least 4-5 times a week/ or run 30 minutes outside with the Pooper (a.k.a. Brady Dog). 3. Be able to run 3 miles…

A photo of me around 200 at this time last year was what made me get serious in January of 2010. I'm now down to 158 with 20 or so more to go.

Congrats! I agree about the scale. I love mine because it has really helped me learn what an actual serving looks like. Best $20 I have spend on weight loss so far!

Thanks everyone. I'm hoping Santa leaves me a HRM under the tree ;)

Bump bump bump!

Guess who's stopping for a box of pudding on the way home!! Thanks for sharing.

Being tired, cold weather and the smell of fresh baked goods! Those are my downfalls, but so far logging into MFP and reading the forums has kept me motivated.

I also use it on sandwiches and wraps in place of mayo. I usually buy it, though I'm tempted to try and make it now! It seems to last a while when I get it from the store. A container can usually last me about 2-3 weeks without showing signs of going bad....not sure that's a good thing!

All I can say is WOW!

I absolutely LOVE this WW recipe! It's easy, low cal, and perfect for this time of year. 2 spray(s) cooking spray 1 pound(s) lean veal loin 1/8 tsp table salt, or to taste 1/8 tsp black pepper, or to taste 3 small sweet potato(es), peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces 2 medium apple(s), McIntosh, cored and diced 1 cup(s)…

I have that problem too! The next morning is always harder than normal - no idea why though:(

You look so amazing! Congratulations on all of your hard work! You will be at your goal in no time.

I was told to stay around 1550 calories to maintain if I wasn't going to be working out but would still be running around doing my every day errands and such. I wasn't able to work out for about 2 months straight and I didn't gain anything back.
-
That is amazing! Congratulations!
-
I will be enjoying some treats for sure! If I didn't I'm pretty sure I would go overboard at some point.
-
((BIG BIG HUGS)) I think a lot of the other posts have said it already, but please know you are not alone and you can take control again. Best wishes.

Thank you for all of your help, Azdak! The information is much appreciated.

I'm so confused now! I asked my husband to get me a Polar HRM for Christmas...is it really worth it if even those aren't accurate?
