The starting strength program is a good beginning strength program it will get more difficult as the weeks progress. As far as diet, i do a lower carb diet and i have not had any setbacks on doing the stronglifts program similar to starting strength. As far as looking like those other women, you may or may not get there.…

Stronglifts or Starting strength for the win. Then you can focus on other intermediate programs. I am doing stronglifts but i bought the starting strength book, lots of great information in the book. I chose stronglifts because I wasn't comfortable attempting power cleans. These programs will meet your objective as long as…

I'm pretty sure he really meant doing compound lifts like squats. If you want to tone up your body follow a program like starting strength or stronglifts. If you still want to do cardio do it after weight lifting.

Lift every other day 3 days a week. You will probably be sore the first week. Don't overdue it initially. That is why everyone recommends stronglifts or starting strength. You start with the bar and work your way up each training session. The hardest part is to follow it and not add to much weight too early. Don't be…

Its sounds to me like you are a perfect candidate for stronglifts or starting strength. These programs are 3 days a week with rest days in between. They are compound exercises that promote overall strength. I just started it myself and I think both are great programs to begin with. The key to both is learning proper form…
