i too am concerned with the saving calories in order to binge on the weekend or special day - losing weight is a daily struggle - one where i have to be aware of what im eating everyday and in all situations.

the scale is not always a good indicator if heath - you may be gaining muscle which weighs more than fat but looks better on the body - try measuring yourself and see if you lost inches -

it takes a long time to "see "oneself as thinner or as a thin person. it helps to change your thought process - instead of saying to your self "look how fat i am" start changing those thoughts to " my clothes are fit better, i can do more, i have more energy" take the focus from your body image and focus on body awareness

the experts say 1 lb per week because if you lose it slowly the chances of actually keeping it off are greater due to you changing your lifestyle and not just going on a "fad diet". real easy and low calorie is to bake them till almost done drain off any excess fat/oil and pour over top a salsa of any kind - serve on rice/noodles/potatos or lowcarb - spaghetti squash

Shift work sucks and i can never get any exercise in when working 12 hour shifts day or nights, and most diet programs dont work for me as i eat at all different times.
