I do make my own on occasion, but I get busy and just want to open a package and be done with it some nights. Thanks for the Trader Joe's suggestion, PaulaP.

If you get chickens for egg laying, get the right ones. My BF wanted Silkies exclusively. While they look cool/weird, they are a smaller sized bird and not the best egg producers.

I've seen someone else call them out on it in some of the replies here and there. Apparently they copy / paste from Allrecipes.com and such with no attribution. The annoying poster person copped an attitude and just keeps on doing it. Guess it makes them feel important. I could think of a hundred other better things to do…

Growing up I would put banana slices in my mom's Puerto Rican yellow beans and rice when we were out of ripe yellow plaintains. Kinda like the same sweet / savory concept. The eggs are an interesting component here.

Nice! Love when people post recipes they've actually tried/made up. That person who continually copies/pastes and junks up this Recipe forum is so annoying.

Oooooh, sounds awesome!

Love Fage yogurt! Thanks for sharing one more way that I can use it.

Will have to try this, sounds like a winner

They need to fire the person who dreamed that last update up.

5' 2 " and 40 y / o here. Started MFP at 143 lbs. and am at 130.5 within ~9 weeks so far. Am set to 1220 calories a day on MFP, but go over on most days...sometimes by A LOT. Lol. I only do cardio so far, but could definitely use some weight training to tone things up a bit. I just revised my goal weight to 120 lbs. from…

I'm 5' 2 " and started 8/17/14 at 143 lbs. and weighed in at 130.5 2 days ago, so a 12.5 lbs. loss in ~9 weeks. You sound more dedicated than I am (have yet to add weight training and often go over my set calorie limit), so I wouldn't doubt you will see a nice change in a 2 month timeframe. When I started I lost nothing…

Am 5'2" and turning 40 next month and, like @becky10rp, I started at 143 lbs on Aug. 17th. Weighed myself today and I am down 12.5 lbs. I readjusted my goal to 120 lbs instead of 125 lbs and expect (hope) to be there before the end of the year. I really haven't been super strict and Type A about things, but I am moving…

I tend to add it to naturally sweet smoothies as a boost. Like spinach, kale, etc. you barely taste it because the other flavors tend to 'mask' the green tea taste. I usually make a concentrated mix to put in my smoothies...6 bags to 2 cups of water. Or just use a sugar substitute.

I'm almost 40 with a 4 y / o and log everyday. Sending FR.

Hi! I'm in the Southeast Michigan / Metro Detroit area. I log daily and try to interact with friends as much as I am able. Sent you a FR. Anyone else can feel free to add me as well. :-)

Hi FallToRise - I like your random style and congrats on your achievements with MFP! I am a 39 y/o mom of a 4 y/o son and got started on this health and fitness journey over the summer. I happen to flip flop between the weird and the normal in life (although I've always preferred The Weird soooo much more). I sent you a FR…

FR sent. :-) I am 10.5 lbs into a 23 lbs goal weight loss (if I can do 25+, even better). I log daily and try to stay as interactive with friends as my schedule will allow. Anyone along the same lines can feel free to add me as well. Thanks! :-)

Definitely possible to lose 1 lb. A week. I'm 5' 2 " and almost 40 y/o and lost 10lbs in 8 weeks and can't say I was type A about everything. Started at 143 lbs. I did add some regular exercise into the mix (nothing crazy, just cardio) and often went over my 1200 calories. I did, however, make some conscious dietary…

Thanks for this!

Get a second job. Find a roommate or two. Move close enough where you only need public transportation and can walk to work. Find out where there is cheap/low cost access to therapy in your community. Consider taking a break from your family and go live your life. It amazes me how some people continue to put up with a-holes…

Before I started (mostly) eating better I totally gorged until I was full, too. I think over time (about 2 months for me so far) things have acclimated themselves and now I don't have the insane cravings for bad things ALL the time and the need to overeat. I used to drink A LOT of alcohol too (plenty of wind down night…

It took me a month to even be able to start to run. But I've found endurance running is boring for me, although I **do** like the intermittent HIIT 1 minute run/2 minute walk thing (15-20 mins of that with 5 mins each warm up and cool down). I especially like the fact that you don't have to put in as much time in to…

I don't even bother with prebagged/boxed popcorn or mess with oil or the air popper machine. Just get a pack of 50 brown paper lunch sacks in the aisle where the Ziplocs are sold, put a 1/4 to a 1/3 cup of kernels in it, fold down the flap, and nuke the bag for 1:30 to nearly 2 minutes (depending on your microwave). Much…

I am 5' 2 " and went from 143 to 133 in 8 weeks. Visually the difference for me is not so great with basically only lots of cardio and counting calories. Personally, I think the difference shown in your pictures is awesome. Wish I had those kinds of results. I don't think you should be so down on yourself.

Can't really take almond milk on it's own, but I don't mind it mixed in a smoothie, oatmeal, or to sub half the milk in my coffee with.

^^ This is huge for me. I get bored and off track a lot with the same old, same old. There are 4 different parks nearby that I will go to, to walk/run/hike, a 24 hr gym less than 2 miles away from my house, and some weights and a DVD for home use should I need them if I am not in the mood to leave. Really want to add a…

No way are you eating enough. You can still eat more than that and lose weight. I'm a 5' 2 " female and my target is 1200-1500. And I eat my exercise calories back most of the time, go over my calories in moderate excess fairly often, and I still lost/lose. I hate being hungry. I really have to eat. I just make (mostly)…

I try to be more of a positive thinker and aim to learn from my mistakes so as not to repeat them. At times when things have seemed difficult and I couldn't seem to see the forest for the trees, therapy worked wonders for me. A good therapist offers lots of perspective. Seriously, I love it and would love to go in at least…

Therapy (with a GOOD therapist) is great for some post-breakup recovery and added perspective. I always found keeping busy with family and friends and forcing yourself to get out of the house to stay active/try new things worked wonders. Keeps your mind off things ex-related. I did things like check out local Meetups…
