I've tried so many times to like oatmeal, but I just can't stand it! Looks like barf to me and I can't get over the texture BLECH  Edited to add; the only time I seemed to enjoy oatmeal is inside of an ohh so forbidden cookie lol

Why low protein? I can't imagine NOT eating a high protein breakfast cause it ALWAYS fills me up, and leaves me feeling satisfied
-
Ohhh I wanna try all of these! I have a sneaking suspicion I'll be running out of PB2 within a week or 2 lol
-
Mmm thanks Keem88 & Ceirna! Complete newbie question coming lol... Do you reconstitute the PB2 before using it in smoothies or oatmeal?
-
Thx, that sounds yummy!!

Sooo I went back and ended up picking up the PB2 with chocolate, and it is just as YUMMYLICIOUS as the original PB2! OMG, I'm officially hooked on this stuff

Peanuts are not bad for you because they have good fat. However, if your looking for a great tasting low cal/fat alternative, check out PB2. I just bought it at GNC and it tastes GREAT! IMO it tastes just like the full fat version

Ok, now I feel forced to go back to GNC & pick up the chocolate one too lol

I usually have a cheesy egg white scramble; I throw in 2 laughing cow light swiss cheese wedges and either one slice of turkey bacon or 2 turkey sausage patties on the side... YUMMY and filling

Yes, that's exactly why I decided to grind them up. When you don't grind them and just eat them whole, they can pass right through you without being digested and absorbed into the body. I'll try again but I'll be letting them grind up a whole lot longer. If it's still yucky to me, I'll give the oil or the already…

Allrecipes.com is one, it doesn't only have low/cal low/carb recipes but you can put that into the seach and see what comes up. Also, if you have your own recipe in mind you can use the recipe builder on here. All you do is enter in all the foods, the servings and it'll tell you how many cals/fat/carbs/protein is in the…

Wow! Talk about right place at the right time!

I agree! You don't want to play around with a cough, especially if you're wheezing on top of it. My daughter ended up being admitted into the hospital because she had a really bad cough + wheezing. Take it easy, rest up and get back at it when YOU feel better
-
Thanks for the idea! I'm going to start with little bits until I get used to it. Wish me luck

Literally "Chalk" that's what I felt I had put into my smoothie lol :embarassed:
-
I'm starting to wonder if when I was grinding the whole seed, I didn't let it go long enough... Either way, I'm not brave enough to put it into another smoothie lol but I'll try it in something else next time.

I agree it depends on the person. When I first started working out, I had to make sure to have something in my stomach, but now I prefer to workout first thing in the morning & on an empty stomach. It's just trial and error
