  • I get sad when I weigh out one serving of nuts. :s (peanut butter too...) The calories add up so fast! They make a great snack, but if you are eating a "handful", or more, then it's more calories than you think. But if it fits within your goals eat as many as you want.

  • A banana is a big breakfast for me... Usually just a coffe and espresso. And a glass(8oz) of juice. Oj, tomato or whatever I've bought. I'd rather have a bigger dinner. But I'm certainly not starving myself in the morning to eat at night or anything. I'm just not generally hungry in the morning.
  • Logging the calories *before* I open/order each drink gets me to not drink so much.... Alcohol calories add up fast!!
  • Beans, beans, the magical fruit. For protein (not fiber...) cottage cheese is a great option if you aren't vegan. A surprising amount really. 1 cup gets 220 cals and 28 grams of protein.
